Here is some new Morrigan related content I just came across while trying to navigate the new forums:

Still don't care for the goofy emo hair style with her bangs covering half of her face. Just something about the female character models like Cassandra and Morrigan looking too similar and not unique enough in the shape of their faces. They both sort of have the same generic pretty face, which is kind of boring to look at.

I know right and I love DA: Demons Within.

Is this thread active again? I see posts from a few days ago but before that August 2013. It's just I'd like a Morrigan thread to follow and can't find another one. Is there a more active one?

From the Official DA:I Site: http://www.dragonage...humans/morrigan
Whether the dark-haired sorceress seeks to influence the Imperial throne, or harbors more sinister motives, no-one knows for certain. This Witch of the Wilds arrived in Orlais rather suddenly three years ago as the newly-appointed “arcane advisor” to Empress Celene. In this role, Morrigan presents a source of information unfiltered by religious dogma, and satisfies Celene’s life-long curiosity about magic. However, whispers carry concern of Morrigan having Celene wrapped around her finger, teaching the Empress forbidden, dark arts in secret.

Yup just saw that. Here is the accompanying picture:

Just not digging her face. Looks really gaunt and narrow, and basically all of the spacing and relative size of the facial features are just completely different than how she looked in Origins. And the emo hair covering half her face is ridiculously terrible looking. It'll bother even more if that hair is just statically glued down and doesn't move at all.
Why did they add some random mole to her face? lol

It looks like they have already changed her looks from her first appearance, and hopefully will continue.

I totally love Morrigan. Can't wait to see what they do with her character.

Wow, judging that last picture they made her DAI version even uglier. Mole, face, hair... all wrong. At least not as bad as Zevran... ![]()

If you're using a PC, then I really recommend the Morrigan restoration mod. It contains a lot of restored Morrigan scenes...Hi everyone!
It's been a long time since I played DA:O. After talking to a friend who finished the game a few days ago, I realised how much i missed it and I think I'm ready for a second playthrough. Also, I'll finally have the chance to play the DLC's, which makes me even more excited about playing the game again! This time, I want to concentrate on Morrigan. I know there is/was a bug related to her story and the way an Origins save game can be imported to Awakening and Witch Hunt. So, I have a few questions about what I should do and how.
My goal is to romance her, accept the ritual and then play the DLC's to see what happens. So, my questions are:
1) Is it possible to get an epilogue that mentions both the "Ring" and Morrigan’s "sorrow and regret" and at the same
time keeping her status “In Love”; Imho, this would be the most interesting and promising way to close the story in
Origins. So, any help about how I could achieve that would be much appreciated.
2) I guess that after Origins I should play Awakening first and then Witch Hunt, right; So probably the way to go is import my character to Awakening, finish it, and then import my Awakening character to Witch Hunt. Is that correct; Which bugs should I be aware of and what should I do in order to keep the characters history intact without losing anything in the process;
I have a couple more questions before I begin my new journey, but its not Morrigan related so I wish I can find help in another thread.
Thank you in advance.

Yeah, it's not a good look. I've actually liked most of the images I've seen of her re-design, but this latest one is bad, and worrying.

Morrigan in the new DA:I Trailer? Assuming it is considering the robes are in the same style as the ones in DA:O although the colour seems a tad washed out.

Yeah, seems to be her. I noticed the clothing looking really washed out and just sort of bland looking too. I'm thinking that's maybe just something to do with the lighting in the game or some sort of post processing since a lot of screenshots have had that washed out look.

Hi guys. I'm ALIIIIIIIIVE.
God. When I saw the E3 trailer, I was so happy just to see her back. My feelings are a mix of cautious optimism and fear regarding how they would handle her in DA:I.

Hopefully that looks better in the final version. That outfit looked better in DAO than it does there.

Will they be ignoring instances of Morrigan being thwarted.
My warden kept the real Grimoire, killed Morrigan, and refused the Dark Ritual.

I wonder the same thing but regarding alistair and others.
I didn't helped him with his half sister and sent him to the pyre at the end of origins, at least in DA II Anora was recognized as the Queen according to my safe files. I hope there'll be an option in the keep to settle those kinds of decisions, I also returned fenris to the Tevinter magister, killed andersand sent the (I forgot his name) sanctimonious prince back to his lands.
I think the decisions regarding Morrigan will be respected now that she'll be in the game, I don't know about her death because she was only stabbed and fall into the Eluvian leaving the option that she might just have been wounded but not fatally. We may know for sure when building the import file at the Keep.

Which is just stupid. The Warden should have known better than to simply stab her once and let her fall through. Her magic could save her.
I didn't like the revelation at the end of Witch Hunt that I still somehow had a kid with her. My dwarf slept with her once (and it wasn't the Dark Ritual). We're different species (yes I know, the Ash Warriors are half Dwarves but still you'd think the fertility rate in a cross species mating would be lower), Dwarves have a fertility problem and Grey Wardens especially have a fertility problem. Besides our underwear was on the entire time. ![]()

That is actually pretty cheap. I've never slept with her w/o doing the Dark Ritual, but is it okay if I get pissed on your behalf? ![]()
At least with all of the hoops that Bioware jumps through to make the OGB happen on as many playthroughs as possible, this indicates they are more likely to at least provide some nice closure to the OGB's arc in the end.

You learn of the fact that Morrigan is pregnant at the end of Origins in the epilogue cards. Basically, whether or not you do the Dark Ritual, so long as you had sex with Morrigan at any point in the game, she'll wind up pregnant. Difference being that once you get to Witch Hunt, Morrigan says that the child she had as a result of your Warden sleeping with her is just a normal child not the Old God Baby.
Now whether that difference between the normal kid and the Old God Baby makes any difference in Inquisition is anyone's guess.

I seem to recall that at some point after Witch Hunt was released, Laidlaw posted something either on the forums or maybe twitter basically saying that if you stabbed Morrigan in Witch Hunt, she wasn't dead, just injured.
