Would love to know this too, i have a save nearby, but i won't replay one third of the game just to see it doesn't work. So if anyone knows for sure that would be niceEfesell wrote...
So can anyone confirm if the mirror trick flags both epilogues?

Being a Morrigan fan I must admit that I don't understand why everyone seems to think that Warden's story ends with Awakening.
Having finished the game yesterday the epilogue said my Warden resigned from his duties at Vigil's Keep and left Ferelden looking for a dark haired sorceress (Morrigan). If anything that seems to indicate that Bioware are wiping away our connections to Ferelden in order to continue our adventures elsewhere. It even says that the Warden's story isn't over.
Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but this leaves me thinking my Warden might be reunited with Morrigan in another expansion/DA2...
I'm jealous you managed to get that specific Awakening ending, most of us didn't. I assume you do not know a trick we're not aware of to get to see this and still finish Origins with the epilogue where you feel her thinking about you through the ring?
Sadly no. The character I imported into the Awakening never got the ring epilogue in Origins.
I'm currently playing a human noble in Origins who is romancing Morrigan and will be imported into Awakening once I'm done. I'll try to keep a few saves at key points during the game (like farewell speech in Denerim before the battle) and try different option to see how that plays out.
If I find out anything good I'll let you guys know.

One trick should be to give her the mirror after you talked to her in Denerim the second time during the climax. Not sure that works, but i have heard so. You may want to try if you play through if that works.

Apart from that i dislike cheating on her, where can you get a second mirror? I only know of that one you can buy in Orzammar?
Console commands. =P

Okay ive read through this whole topic but i just want to make sure, in order the get the epilogue with morrigan in awakening:

-i have to say that ill look for morrigan when asked by the king
Don't speak to her while in Denerim during the final battle at all (she will address you in her farewell speech like all others do, that's okay, but nothing more).
The second point is probably not mandatory, but i would do so to be on the safe side.

It's probably a good idea to be wearing her ring, too.

If you pester Morrigan after the ritual she dumps you and and you move on, which makes Morrigan regret dumping you? Hence you get the ring slide? And if you don't pester her and decide to go look for her she doesn't feel bad because she knows you're looking for her and secretly wants you to find her? And so the romance isn't over and you get the epilogue slide in Awakening?
Btw I talked to Morrigan about the ritual and got the ring slide, and I also told her and Alistair I'd look for her and asked nothing as a reward from Alistair but I didn't get any mention in the epilogue about what happened to my warden. Is this normal? On another playthrough I asked to serve the king and got the chancellor or whatever slide in addition to the ring slide.

That means I've got to replay all DA:O, hoping someone someday will do something about the most interesting character in the game. To tell you the truth, I think none of others could compare with Morrigan.
This is even worst than Viconia's ending in BGII...
Is there *any* possibility to find another damn mirror after the epilogue?
It's in times like this that I regret having games on PS3 instead on the PC ('console' command-__-).
Hey Bioware folks!! Would you please tell us what's happening???

What you say to Morrigan at the gates and to Alistair/Anora during the coronation doesn't matter. I didn't say I'll go after her.
The slide is determined the moment you import your save into Awakening.
The romance flag needs to be on(approval was 100-love in my case).
This method works perfectly for other romances but the devs overlooked the fact that Morrigan's approval drops to friendly in most peoples games... pfft.
By talking to Morrigan during the final battle you get a "break up" speech. This is the only way to see the slide with her ring in your epilogue(the one that says she's thinking about you and feels regret and sorrow). If you get that, Awakening won't import your romance properly.
Here's the slide.

If you don't have the mirror you can use the console. I think someone posted the commands a few pages back.

Speak to her after the Gates of Denerim farewell and during the final battle and you get the "regret and sorrow" epilogue in Origins, but no "chasing the dark haired sorceress" epilogue in Awakenings.
Pass on speaking to her after the Gates of Denerim farewell and during the final battle and you get no "regret and sorrow" epilogue in Origins, but do get the "chasing the dark haired sorceress" epilogue in Awakenings.
Speaking to her after the Gates of Denerim farewell and during the final battle = breakup and "just friends."
Do not speak to her after the Gates of Denerim farewell and during the final battle = depart "lovers."
No way to get both epilogues.
So, as I've always contended, you are expected to remain a silent little chump throughout the entire Dark Ritual debacle to the end of the game. You are to accept Morrigan's contrived plot hook bulls#!+ (actually the writer's plot hook BS) or you lose your little "love" flag. Wow, this just gets dumber and dumber. Tragic really. The best character that draws in the straight male players is nothing but plot leverage and a tool of manipulation.
I’m done with it. It's been nothing but a source of "epic” frustration. Videos games are supposed to be fun, this is anything but. I’m not even really enjoying Awakenings. I’m playing sluggish and almost indifferent, whereas I should be having a blast. The four new shield talents are actually cool especially “Juggernaut.” My heart’s just not in it knowing there's really nothing waiting for my Warden in the end, as he will not get his "dark haired witch" epilogue. So what's the point? I'm just not going to go back a replay the ending of Origins again. DA is a great concept and a fun game ruined by the romance. I did about 5 playthroughs with Origins with multiple endings/replays interspersed in there. I’m just so sour now with this glitch (whether intended or not) and a romance that was horrendous in Origins, that the fun and interest are really waning for me. I just don't see me having the enthusiasm for another xpac, if I'm having this much trouble getting through Awakenings now.
Kicked in the balls in Origins and kicked in the balls again in Awakenings is quite enough. Anything further is just masochism, and I'm not into that. It appears I'm just not cut out for "Dark Fantasy," whatever that is; I don't understand it.

Did you say it's a gift for a beautiful woman? That usually triggers the romance flag.

First of all, thx for the effort as well as for the slide screenshot.
Does it work? I know you can mess up going to love if you say the wrong things to her, and if that mirrow trick really works i am willing to replay about one third of the game to achieve that ending.
Maybe someone who knows the console can load it and try if it is possible after the talk with her to get back to love with using the right words?
