It looks like the blue light door on the background could be an Eluvian? 

 

Anyway, I really love that she is back and can't wait to play the game. I Iike it that Morrigan (and Leliana for that matter) are respected and will be left alone regarding romances. Also saw a screencap from an article where in The Keep asking and having the options of selecting what the Warden did? going through the Eluvian with Morrigan, stab her or just walk away.

 

 

P.S. And after so long....we have reached page 600! hehe

If it isn't it sure looks like it.

If there is a mention of the Warden's relationship with Morrigan, I hope that it isn't initially brought up by the Inquisitor. I don't think everyone is going to know about the Warden's love life (Sure, there was "Sister Leliana? From the Legend?" but there was also Ariane who had no idea of the Warden's connection to Morrigan).

At least the only people who know about the OGB's existence are those who were involved in making that happen.

It's interesting the notion of how Morrigan will act and the romance option with the Warden considering that both Morrigan and Leliana were exclusively left alone regarding relationships or love interest in this game because of the romance with the Warden. Will he appear in the game? will we see him and Morrigan together? 

 

I've seen the question card in an image from the keep if the Warden romanced Morrigan and if he went through the Eluvian with her as part of the build up before starting the game...I just hope for it to be shown and addressed in the game. Afterall, in a developer's interview they said Morrigan will show a more humane side of her maybe a good side or a side that cares for others or the present situation in Thedas possibly including the Warden.

Hello all. After years of absence, I have rejoined this discussion group. Lots of discussion to catch up on. Got my copy of DAI. This time since I got a PS4 for the kids and my desktop is 3 years old and too slow to optimally play PC DAI. I decided to blow $60 on DAI for PS4 and not another few hundred on a new motherboard, CPUs and Video Card. Money is tight these days. I might play Witcher 3 too on PS4 for the same reason. Anyway, I spend a couple of hours trying tor remember all my minor decision and importing my world state to PS4 and creating my new inquisitor. I am torm between fighter and mage. My Warden was a fighter. My Hawke was a mage, which was awesome in DAII but mages in DAO were clasically boring  week. Any suggestions? Fighter or Mage inquisitor? Look forward to seeing Morrigan again!

I usually play female characters but Morrigan is the main and only reason I'll ever play a male one.

 

I just finished another DAO-Awakening-Witch Hunt play through with my warden taking the lonely hero's exit from the stage by vanishing through the mirror from the world to be with the woman he loves.

So I'm having a little problem here, for some reason, the game recognizes Leliana as my Warden's lover when it comes to party bantering, and that happens even if the love scene with Morrigan already happened. Both has their approval bar completed, and Morrigan is kinda bitter with Leliana in some party dialogues, that's supposed happen, but then later Alistair comes and teases Leliana like if she was dating the Warden??? Wtf, will this affect the game outcomes? I really want to keep the romance with Morrigan, like always, but it's kinda annoying how everyone sees Leliana as the current LI when they never kissed or anything close to that. I even stopped playing the game for a while and went to Inquisition. Kinda breaks the immersion.

There is a weird issue/bug perhaps in the relationship/friendship gauge with DAO. I had a similar issue as you but sort of the opposite.

 

My warden romanced Morrigan. Said all the right things, slept with her and even "killed" Flemmeth for her. They did all the playful banter, kissed in public and even had dates with just the two of them in Denerem. Her friendship was 100% (warm) which then changed to 100%(love) after getting Flemmeth's real book. Cemented the relationship despite Morrigan's self doubts about love and all that afterwards.

 

I had also NEVER had my warden flirt with Leliana but gave her festival gifts and completed her quest and hardened her. I go to the camp and Leliana and my warden have a cutscene with Leliana demanding to know who my warden loved. Either it was Morrigan or Leliana but Leliana was not about to share. Which is strange. Never flirted with Leliana. Never even discussed her "forbidden fruit" or anything. So I bought her off with a sweet cake since I had to "break up" with her and lost favor with her.

 

Morrigan will not share you knowingly with anyone. Not Bella, not Isabela, not even a kiss from a grateful maiden lol. But she 100% approved of my warden marrying Anora and keeping her as the secret mistress lol

But I don't want my Warden to be shared either D: It really annoys me because most of my companions thinks that he's with Leliana when they never flirted or anything like that (Okay..He might have said that she's pretty) but then again, this never happened before. When I finish my second pt of Inquisition, I will give the game another chance to fix things during the journey.

Probably telling Leliana she was pretty is what triggered the whole thing. tell a girl that and what else is she suppose to think?

 

Should make for an interesting DAI world status with Leliana loving and losing your warden.

 

I'm actually sort of disappointed there is not more interactions in DAI between Leliana and Morrigan. After all they are like the original crew. Yet they don't even really seem to even acknowledge the fact they know each other and helped end the 5th blight.

This... though I must admit I think BW did a satisifying job of Morrigan's dialogue in DAI for the Romanced Morrigan>Performed Dark Ritual>Went through the Eluvian Warden.

Yeah, my only wish there was that they had a little more of a shout out to the Hero of Ferelden at the very end,

But everything that was there was about as good as it could get without having the Warden show up in a playable form.

I've got many grievances with how Inquisition played out, but Morrigan's writing is thankfully not one of them (aside from a mention at the end which would've been nice).

That confrontation she has with a certain woman we all know about.... that solidified her into the category of female characters that are among my top favorites.

I know she's seemingly matured and mellowed out with the kid and all but she was almost too mellowed out and polite to everyone. I guess Vivienne sort of picked up the torch for bitchiness when dealing with others I guess.

Started writing a post-Inquisition story as a fun buffer for my college work and original stuff, and it revolves around the Warden and Morrigan. Though it only has elements of romance. The focus is more adventureish than anything.

lol... The Warden and Kieran ruined her.

 

There are attempts in DAI to make her a ******... but they do seem contrived a bit, except when she murder-knife's abelas (sp?) at the well of sorrows.

To me they rounded her face a bit and made it less... er... witchy; by that I mean, her pointy nose and chin are gone.

I thought she became even more gorgeous. And damn, those golden eyes hadn't lost their charm, Morrigan is mind blowing beautiful : 3 I'm back to DAO because of her, and I really wish to play with my Warden for one last time in some kind of DLC. It's not impossible.

There is also Leliana  chatter but Morrigan's chatter is something I've not seen before. Particulary her (Warden did not got through the eluvian) chat inquiring if the HOF was at Adamant.

cool. I have 2 issues.

 

1. what you mention at the end..

 

2. her attitude during the whole well of sorrows business. Its as if, dangle a little power in front of her, and its F Kieran,; F the warden.... there's an ounce of power to be had so **** my family..  I detest her responses during this mission.... Kieran is a special lad, he will thrive with or without me.... That's Bullshit, he's a little boy who needs protecting..... it contradicts BOTH the doting mother she has become AND her preconcieved notion that Survival has value.

 

Hey, little boy, your mother is now stupidly dead and your father is either dead or in parts unknown.... but hey, you're an ophan now, go off and thrive...

 

I loved the Romanced Warden talk, but Morrigan completely betrays this at the well of sorrows.... the one and only way this can be reconciled is if Morrigan knows about the Well of Sorrows, and knows it won't be fatal....  otherwise, she has ABSOLUTELY no Growth, absolutely little change.
