Yeah as soon as I said that it crashed. No more than 5 minutes later. However it did only crash on me 3 times during the 12 hour quest through awakening, during the battle with that baroness, when I fought the demon in the crypt, and in amaranthine during battle.

Affinity tells the application how many processing threads to use. It sounds a lot scarier than it actually is - just right-click in task manager, then select "set affinity" and uncheck everything except core 0. It won't affect anything else. Out of interest, are you running and AMD or Intel setup?
