that is a short bow. i think the best short bow in the game.

i compare it to far song. far song slightly better. but not sure about DPS. maybe dragonspite will win.



something like 8.90 base

+3 damage, +10 attack

+10 or 20 damage vs dragons and another stat.

that armor is called stormchaser

helm-is found near the injured soldiers at very beginning of game
armor-bought from merchant inside the vigil
gloves-bought from herren
boots- found on a dead templar, at turnoble estate

Heartwood bow is beautiful. I don't like playing Archers but this kind of temps me to make an Orlesian Archer.

dude, where did you find the "Talon of the Skies" dagger ? the wiki page at dragon age wiki is not made yet, and this thread is the only other referance to the dagger except the codex entry on "Tooth of the Mountain-Father" I could find using google.

I do not either remember seeing this item at any of the merchants, if it is a low-cost(?) dagger, that may be why I in that case have not noticed it much.

Please, I have bought all the higher level gear and rune-crafting recepies, ALL of it, I have made thousands of Menacing Runes *hint hint* and I am just about satisfied with the amount of paragorn runes in my gear to go start the final battle. 

But I want it all!

The armor i'm using is a mix and match lol,

Clamshell Plate Armor.

Fleet Feet Boots,

Hirols Defence Helm, or Cailan's Helm.

Stormchaser gauntlets.



Weapon: Vigilance (Wardens Keep DLC Off) 1H with whatever Wade thinks best Stats. 2H Ser Alvard's Sword.

Shield: Landsmeet Shield with Grey Warden Heraldy.

Not sure about best looking.. I rather like the Hirol's set, despite how commonplace that design has become. Although as far as the most disappointing, definitely the Sentinel set. The glowing red dragon head ruined it. Looks like WoW armor. If it had looked just like the armor The First was actually wearing, with the chain, and varying textures/colors, I would've loved it.

Without reading the rest of the thread, here are my favorites, as far as visuals:



My favorite looking armor is the Sentinel Armor, even though I would have appreciated a little more red, but whatever.



My favorite looking weapon is Vigilance, but the coloration doesn't match Sentinel's. Was really wanting the weapon to be a blackish purple or any color to fit well with the armor set.



For those who are sick and tired of hearing Sentinel Armor and Vigilance, I am also a fan of Armor of Hirol's Defense, as well as the weapons Dragonbrand and Daisy Cutter. Yes, I said Daisy Cutter lol

Armor of the Sentinel, for sure. The Kal Hirol set is nice, but it is pretty standard. But looks nice, anyway.

Wow people have bad taste, the color is cool but the sentinel Armour set looks like ****.

For me the legion of the dead armour on a dwarf looks best as far as armour sets go.
