When I slew the Archdemon, the final boss of Origins, I jumped up on his head, and rode him (while stabbing him repeadetly with both my swords) until he fell to the ground, then (through some mysticism) I ran back, picked up a conveniently placed sword on the rooftop, and, in a brilliant flash of light, completely obliderated the Archdemon once and for all.

When I slew the Mother, the final boss of Awakening, I stabbed her in the face, twice.

Am I the only one who was slightly dissapointed by this?

Even the normal broodmothers in Kal' Hirol got a cooler death than this (they were blown up by some psychadelic lyrium cube).

To be honest, I was kind of expecting her to spring back to life or something. It seemed a little too anti-climatic.

Mages get there own killing animation.
We KILL IT WITH FIRE at the end.
I was happy.

IT was a long and dark December, I don't know the words and killing blows are awesome but don't seem to happen enough for me.

Lmao, funny you should make a topic about this. I was fighting the final battle for a second time while my niece watched (she thought the mother was creepy as hell) and I told her to watch while my character goes street gangsta on this ****.

That's right, he's got a sword on his back, but he took this **** to the streets. Whipped out his pocket blade and poke a ****'s face... twice foo'! Cuz that's how we do in the streets. Then he turned around like he didn't give a damn and walked off with a mean mug. (I did like his little mug and thug swagger at the end though... it was very suitable for him... haha)

Yeah, my mage got a very nice animation. I'm happy.

Definitely anti-climactic. Game crashed on me three or four times during that fight, then I got wiped out once before I finally beat it. The cutscene starts and I'm sitting here feeling the hint of accomplishment for beating her, *stab stab, walk away and leave the sword*, epilogue card.... What the heck just happened? It's a 30 second cutscene (if that long) and then straight to epilogue cards before you even realize what's happened.

I totally expected her to start moving again, too.





Then I got the kill cut-scene repeated after the Epilogue slides and was scared all over again. But then it repeated again. And again. And I thought to myself 'why am I seeing this? Is it intentional and the devs are messing with my head? Is it a bug? In which case... what am I *not* seeing?" I am .... still disturbed.
