 Sure the hurlocks and genlocks have killed countless hundreds of thousands of people (maybe millions).....
but the real menace in Ferelden is ogres

So lets see what they've managed to do in just a few short years

• Kill King Cailan
• Kill Duncan (the beard...!!!)
• Kill Varel

Ogres killed Varel? That's the seneschal right? When did this happen because I don't remember that at all.

Also, ogres have to be the ones because it just wouldn't feel right if hurlocks and genlocks offed the important guys. (Though honestly, people say otherwise but I always thought it was an alpha hurlock that axed Duncan's face. The ogre just hit him as far as I can remember...)

If you choose to defend Vigil's Keep instead of Amaranthine, an ogre mauls Varen and he dies.

And actually, I think you're right about the alpha hurlock killing Duncan. I got mixed up.
