So I got the collectors edition of Dragon Age, and the first thing I did before i even started the game was go to their website and enter all of the codes for the DLC to be sure I had it all when I started. Anyways, in the menu online under the download progress tab it says they are all 100% downloaded, and under the installed tab it says only some ring thing is installed and enabled.
At first i kept saying, "I'll get the stuff later", but i'm 10 hours in and i'm positive somethings amiss. anyways, does anyone else have this problem? or possibly know a fix?
If it's been addressed already or is a noob question I apologize in advance
DLC downloaded 100% but no install...

nevermind, figured it out seconds after posting.
I went into the repair tab of the Launcher and deleted download cache, and added Windows Firewall Port.

yea....that didnt work for me...i have the stone keeper and the armor...it downloads 100% but does nothing else from there.
I also noticed that it shows Game Version Required 1.0 in red text.
Whenever i click into install content, nothing pops up.
Again after 100% download, it just sits there doing nothing, no install button, no nothing.
Anyone have a fix for this?

Read the sticky on the top of the forum, it's got a bunch of info on troubleshooting for the PC DLC, not sure if it'll help but it's worth a look.

Same problem here, DLC contents 100% downloaded, but refuse to install indicating they required version 1.0 as it is written in red. Tech support says it is still investigated. 1 week past, still no solution. Seems I have to wait for some more time.

i had the same problem. here is the solution.
there is a dragonage updater in one of the folders in the game directories. run it as an administrative.
on the opened window click select dazips to select the downloaded packages.
the downloaded packages are in program DATA\\Bioware.... (you cant miss them) but look in the program data folder and it is invisible by default.
then select all of them and click install.
by the way you have to be in English (US) regional settings not to see a failed installation. After the the packages are installed you can turn your regional settings back to normal. And it is done. the downloaded packages are now under the installed tab in the game and you can find everything accessable.

this explanation may not be enough. if you think so, please google it and you will find a better explanation how to do it. in Steam forums there is a good post about this problem. And it really fixes the issue. By the way i congradulate Bioware EA games and Steam. Bioware came up with the best game of the year and now with these stupid problems people have headaches. I paid 65 dollars to buy this game and tried to figure out how to install these DLCs for 3 hours. Thanks to stupid Steam stuff and unnecessary EA games registration and hundreds of redeem codes.

EUREKA! I have found the solution. Checked the DAUpdater.xml file. You will see there that only English, Espanol, Italian, French, Deutch, Checkz, Hungarian, Polish and Russian is supported.
I set the region to US English. And then voilla, DLC contents started installing succesfully. What is surprising is the official support team still does not have any clue about. Pay for support, heh :=) Support yourself.
Returned here to report the success and guess what, zupp has already posted my solution. Thanks to zupp anyway, but hey, where were you until now :=)

Another small issue after installation of the DLCs. Upon starting the game all 6 DLCs are listed in the installed contents tab. However Downloads tab still listed the failed installation attempts. So I cleared the DLC cache from the Repair tab of the configuration utility. Restarted the game and verified that Downloads tab cleared succesfully. Loaded my saved game, attempted to start the Soldier's Peak mission. But it reported that DLC was downloaded and game should be restarted. So I restarted the game with the same message repeating. Apparently installing DLC manually misses something to make the game aware of the installation. Well, then I disabled all the installed contents from within the game's installed DLC tab. Restarted the game, re-enabled all the installed contents, loaded my saved game, and the mission started succesfully, thanks God. Hope this will help others like me.
