i appologize if this a dumb question but what do you have to do to get the expansion to start ex finish the other game (origins) or can you simply start the new game with the new char i had finished origins before but my char all got wiped out system issue wife installed expansion but i cant figure out how to get it to run with new char i dont even have a new logo to click please help

I hope you dont get crashing issues my friend like many others. When you start a new game, you will have a choice between Origin and Awakening, choose Awakening and you can pick any of your old characters, campaign finished or not and start the new campaign. Hope this helped.

i cant get awakening option to appear any ideas?

you can play DAO or DAA from the awakening disc just insert the awakening disc click launcher click play click new game you should then be given the option to play Origins or Awakening then you can create new character or import character from origins note that if you have starfang it will not be imported as well as some abilities .

thanks but i put disk in and its not giving me an option for awakening

Yeah, i seem to have a problem where i cant actually play Awakenings.



There is an option when the DOA main screen comes up for "play other campaigns" but when i go in, it shows the title Awakenings, but no picture, and when you press play, nothing happens!!!



Please help me.

Btw...i do have the 1.03 patch and everything updated, before i loaded the expansion.

highlight the awakening by clicking on it then click play play

other campaigns aint high lighted either any ideas what to try im so bummed i got this tuesday and istill cant play it thanks

if other campaigns is greyed out may have to do a reinstall

Rc car guy, I am having the same problem.



I talked to a customer support guy and it seems that I need to register my copy of awakening. Trying going online to proifle.ea.com and registering your copy of the game. That is supposed to work. For some reason every time I try to register it tells me I have done so but does not send me an email and the customer support people tell me my code is still unused. Anyone have any ideas?

thanks is anybody else having this problem wife swears when she installed gamed other campaigns was highlighted but didnt play it

Are you sure Eurypterid? I know its registered here under the link in your sig. The support guy told me to register it at profile.ea.com. That seems to be where I am having the problem.

Ok everybody! I fixed the problem. Turn off the UAC(google it if you can't figure out how to turn it off) and then restart and reinstall. Works perfectly. goodluck!

ok it fixed it was set up under administrator instead of under the one i play origins on thanks for all your help
