I'm sorry I really want to keep my character from the first game and I want to bring him or her to Dragon Age: Origins 2. I made love to Morrigan and I told Allister I was going to find her. I want my character to find her let me do this please. I would love it. I think the game would just plain stink if it didn't let me do this and I know this isn't Mass effect, but still I think it would make the next game mega awesomeness. Image IPB

I really want to play Morrigan's child in the sequel, but I would rather play Morrigan or Alistair than my own main character. I liked them better. (Could you imagine a fully-voiced main character voiced by Claudia Black? *swoon*)

I really want a proper storyline continuation with my PC from the DA:O ending. Who knows now after reading on what transpired in Awakening.

I think it would be interesting if DA:O2 centered around Morrigan's child. Although, this would have to take place anywhere from 15-20 years later for it to have an effect (can't see an infant being a viable character). By that time, our beloved Warden Commander would have succumbed to the taint and gone to the Deep Roads.

My guess is that we'll see a whole new cast of characters with some references to the past and possible interactions with non-Grey Warden party members (much in the same way that ME2 was designed).

Why would it be called origins 2? They would change the 2nd part of the name to Dragon Age: (Insert new name here)

I, for one, hope any continuation of DA:O is limited to expansions/DLC. For a sequel, I'd much rather get a whole new character, location, and storyline.

No i think origins is too branched out already. your asking for a ton of content but small in a single playthrough. Look at Awakening. =))

e.g Morrigan baby ending and no baby ending. That could be 2 different games right there! :)) Then how about Leliana romance ending? What if you killed Leliana. Would they make a character that most won't use? There is just too many variables to just let it continue.

Maybe our Warden Commander will dissapear, like Revan and the Jedi Exile in KOTOR did. Still, I hope they give our guy a proper send off, they had nearly 700 carry over features from Mass Effect 1 into Mass Effect 2 and I hope they do such for our Warden. The world itself should react to the Wardens race, i.e. elves get more respect if you were one, or the dwarven caste system should be loosened if you were a casteless and Prince Bhelen ascended to the throne, and so and so.

They should atleast have a statue with our character model and the armor he or she was wearing.

Morrigan could be pregnant regardless of what you chose to (or not to) do. She could have shapeshifted into your female character and slept with Alistair, or she could have slept with Rhiordan. I think she's pregnant regardless. (Leaves questions in my mind as to whether or not whoever killed the archdemon actually died.)

She tells you Riordan is not suitable, she needs one who hasn't been tainted long.  Nor can she assume other human forms, just that of animals.

No, she tells you there's no point to assuming other human forms. I believe she sidestepped that particular question.

Morrigan's baby definitely can not be the MC in DA2. You wouldn't be able to choose your race.

Also, a lot of people hate Morrigan (myself included), and making the Dark ritual being canon would be like a punch in the face.

Canon? This isnt Knight of the Old Republic theres no need for anything to be cannon, no future that needs to be kept in perspective. The Ritual shoud be taken as a possibility as much as whether or not we side with the Architect.

Also in KOTOR, K1  Revan is a man and K2 the Exile is a woman. LucasArts has spoken!

I would prefer another expansion before the sequel.

Morrigan's baby showing up would make the dark ritual canon, and damn near everyone assumes her baby's going to play a huge role in the sequel.

I personally want some closure to my main PC.  The whole "Deòridh went back to court but eventually decided to leave and was never heard from again" epilogue sure as HELL doesn't cut it.  For one, I want to know why the hell she's leaving in the first place; my character knows her duties as Alistair's wife and wouldn't leave just because she 'got bored'.  Secondly, I want to know she eventually returns to Alistair's side.  I don't want to have worked through that whole relationship path just to have her go out on her own and leave for good.  <_<

I would like DA:O2 to feature my Warden because I've grown attached to her, but I don't want to have the same companions from DA:O.  Cameos (and relatively large ones, not like the Alistair or Wynne minute-long appearance in Awakening) from Alistair, Leliana, Sten, etc. would be wonderful, but I don't want to go through another adventure with the same exact people.  I want new companions to learn about and grow on me.  That said, however, I want them to be better executed than the characters in Awakening.  I blame how short the expansion was, but I didn't really care in the end about any of the characters.

And we're calling it Dragon Age: Origins 2 for lack of a more official name, obviously.  If you'd prefer, I can call it Dragon Age: The Sequel, but I don't think people would understand the acronym of 'DA:TS' quite as well.

I hope they don't continue with the same character at all. It cheapens the ending of DA:O. Awakenings already eroded that ending with handwaving galore.

The Dragon Age Setting (Thedas) is so large, there's absolutely no need for DA2 to be set in Ferelden or revolve around Grey Wardens or darkspawn.

The threat would have to be grave if the Queen of Ferelden would leave in such a hurry. The only thing that would warrent such a expediante exit would be.... the threat of an Archdemon?

*Spoiler Alert*

We all know that it was the Architect that released the origional Archdemon Urthemiel, but its possible he learned the location of the rest of the other Old Gods and had paved the way to them before he tried his little "experiment" on the first one. Even if you kill him his Disciples would surely make a an attempt at ressurecting the Old God out of a need for leadership.

Would the Architect go back on his word in a bid for power? Who can say.

I take the deciding to leave as being a reference to answering his/her calling.

I also hope for a completely seperate story and would prefer DA2 not to be centered around the blight etc.

I am fine with a blight occuring later in the story line, but I think there is plenty in the world for great stories that have nothing to do with the darkspawn.

Traveling to Orlais and trying to stop a plot to overthrow Empress Celene and invade Ferelden again would have been nice. And It would be perfect way for Leliana to return.

Think of it. More bards, assassinations, Chevaliers, maybe even some Orlais Grey Wardens having their little paws in the plot. Much excitment to behold.

Kicking ass in Orlais with the redhead bard...a tempting thought, yes.

I presume you're talking about the Ultimate Sacrifice ending, correct? I agree with you that this particular ending was handled poorly, but there are others (myself included) who went a different route in Origins and whose "ending" in both Origins and Awakening provided no closure at all for the important things.
