I highly doubt this is anything that Bioware has control over, so please don't be saying, "I'd expect Bioware to be keeping us informed." The material has been provided to Micro$oft and now it's an Xbox Live issue. Take a breath. Yes, it's frustrating and yes, I'd like to know what the problem is too, but come on...

honestly its nothing that special its just like a taster i suppose to show what could be coming on a larger scale for the hammerhead.

Sweet...

So we have the useless Arc Projoketer(mispelled on purpose)

A vehicle DLC that takes 20 minutes to complete and has no integration with the main campaign.

And another non-interactive companion DLC with about an hours worth of content associated with her in regards to a loyalty mission.

Oh and some clothes.

Yanno now that I think about it BioWare maybe you should just dump the DLC plans altogether, what you're throwing out is freaking popcorn, its crunchy and if you put salt and butter on it it tastes like salty butter but it has no nutrional value at all. And largely thats what the DLC seems to be, popcorn.

Just dump the DLC plans entirely and stick everyone on the ME3 project and be done with it. I don't want crap content for free, I don't want crap content I have to pay for and I especially don't want crap content I have to wait months for to arrive only to have it be the equivalent of a saltine ****** compared to the feast of the game its being imported into.

It just cheapens the experience, in my opinion.

Completed it all on 360.
Good, but short.

Did the 360's Achievements work okay? Just curious.

Oh and am I th only one who is thinking that even if this is a small mission pack (total MB size & mission play time) that it's not going to be the only mission pack for the HammerHead?

I don't know what you mean about the achievments. I'm still showing 51/51. 1015 points.

Agreed. The DLC so far, especially how vocal BioWare have been about hyping what they have in store for the fans, has been an utter disappointment

All of it has been free, if you don't like it, don't download and use it, stop ****ing about it and go play something else if you don't like it.  Arc Projector was meant for stripping shields and frying Synthetics, don't whine when it's not an overpowered one shot kill weapon.

I don't want kids complaining on the forum when all they can type is randomized garbage complaining about something.  For all intensive perposes, the DLC is fine, we just want more main questline integration.

By the way, it's not just the new content that's getting the error message. I never downloaded the Arc Projector and, when I try to do so now, I get the same error message as I do for the Firewalker pack. This is almost certainly an MS-screw up, not Bioware's.

Agreed.  The Firewalker pack is nothing like what everyone is hoping for.  Yes, I've played it, and yes, it's free, but I'd much rather pay for quality DLC than get tossed this sad little diversion which really doesn't fit in with the game all that well.

Glad someone finally gave is some info.
What's taking so long, then?

Nothing is "taking so long". We push DLC onto the PC and Xbox 360 today at our pre-planned approved times which is 12 noon BioWare time (which is MST or Mountain Standard Time). This takes a few hours to complete and as soon as it is ready you'll see it on your systems. It may take 2.5 hours, it may take 3.2 hours, etc depending on upload speeds.

Thanks for clearing that up...will need to wait for a few hours.

I'm not even seeing firewalker on my list of items that I can download off the cerberus network. I guess I'll have to check back later.  This is for the pc version, if it matters.

I'm sure you meant "for all intents and purposes"

If you're going to be condescending to 'kids' who disagree with you, you might want to brush up on your grasp of the english language first.

I'm sure you'll get you're chance to buy DLC for the Hammerhead in the future - I very much doubt they'd stop at this "small" DLC pack.
Now stop whining. It's free. "Cheapens the experience". What a douche.

Yes, you need access to Cerberus Network. And it's still not available.

ok so the dlc is not perfect.

but i look at it this way. with the coding done and the stuff in game, they can then focuse properly on more missions..

folks are way to jaded these days.

good quote i read recently "It's not the greatness of our troubles but the littleness of our spirits that makes us complain"

quite apt in this instance.

Nice assumptions all around.

Arc Projoketer = Useless cause I already have plenty of heavy weapons. I don't want one shot kill weapons, I want more weapons I actually have a use for...more assault rifles, more submachine guns, more pistols and sniper rifles, more biotics options. These are meaningful things, adding a 7th heavy weapon to a line of heavy weapons I barely touch other than the M100 Grenade Launcher or, at times the Cain, was a frivolous DLC...free is what it was worth.

Firewalker = No storyline integration, useless diversion of time and resources. Short campaign apparently, so, whats the point?

Kasumi = Nice, but Zaeed was a hell of a character, it was damn sad he was basically a robot beyond his loyalty mission, which is mostly what Kasumi is going to be...a robot, beyond the loyalty mission.

Alternate Outfit Pack = Fluff. Especially compared to say.....an Armor for everyone pack, which allows you to actually gear your companions like in ME.

I'm also not a kid.

So, assumptions squashed.

Free DLC/Paid DLC...whatever, if its crap...its crap. And you're right, I can not download it and go play something else, like...Dragon Age, where I can actually count on something new and interesting at least once a week from the modding community to make the game worthy of continued play throughs regardless of having played it semi-constantly now since release.

it've been nice if they coulda included some dialogue but it was free and give you a little insight on advancements to come for mass effect 3. it felt tacked on not real gameplay like the rest of the missions have some dialogue but its ok

Have to agree with thinking that Modders usually deliver better work than Dev-constructed DLCs that have to be bought. So far I'm really not happy with the DLC content BW has given us. There are old Morrowind and BG's Mods with more depth than this. (And they need no VOs, fancy graphics etc. to draw you in, now what does that tell you?) If this is all BW is going to do DLC wise, then YES, drop them and get ME3 done faster. Or deliver DLCs that actually match the game they are supposed to enhance. So far, only the Normandy Crash Cite delivered IMHO.

[They should be available in approximately 3 more3 hours. Get ready to Hammerhead]

Thanks for the info Chris. Little confusing but I'm assuming it's 3 hours and not 3 more sets of 3 hours. Just kidding. Can't wait to blow stuff up...
