yeah its nothing really that good, but i have to give kudos to bioware for great level design once again, best one is on Corang planet, really great design, massive ramp which is awesome

Agreed.  The Firewalker pack is nothing like what everyone is hoping for.  Yes, I've played it, and yes, it's free, but I'd much rather pay for quality DLC than get tossed this sad little diversion which really doesn't fit in with the game all that well.

I'm sure you'll get you're chance to buy DLC for the Hammerhead in the future - I very much doubt they'd stop at this "small" DLC pack.

Oh so we waited 60 days for this to wait an indeterminate amount of time for content that actually makes it worth its introduction to the game?

I realize you don't like it when someone calls things out for what they are. But that doesn't change the facts of the matter.

A 20 minute tank shoot em up race course style diversion that has nothing to do with the game at all is crap, period.

At least when they integrated Bring Down the Sky and even that godawful Pinnacle Station, it had tie ins and integration to Mass Effect that benefitted you in some way. What the hell is the Firewalker benefitting? 

We wait two months for 20 minutes of content and you in your complacent acceptance of such substandard additions to what is really an epic game which to me, would require epic DLC integrations, are calling ME a douche? Okay fine...I'm a douche...but you, on the other hand, are a mindless consumer with a very low bar set for being "satisfied".

But then I can't help but expect it, I love BioWare games as much as the next person but I'm not going to sit here and lap up these pathetic DLC offerings as act like they're the mana of the gods.

Seriously...20 minute Firewalker campaign, and you sir, are prepared to wait an indeterminate amount of time to pay for expansion of it.

The arc projector fills a gap, just because its not one you want filling doesnt make it useless, except perhaps to you, but suprise suprise each individual dlc is not tailored to you.



The firewalker pack loosk to be a tech demo in esscense, more likely to come. Several very good reasons for lack of intergration: 1stly low intergration means it is accesable to all, as it can be done at more different times, including and this is a very important one to those who have completed the game, 2ndly it makes progression into either a expansion or ME3 easier (as having loads of differnt save permutations comlpicates things greatly).



Is it worth money? Perhaps not, that in itself does not make something crap though.



And you're alternate armour idea is a big change we're talking a large expansion pacik here not some petty DLC.

Yeah, um, there is no Firewalker pack. Just the Alternate Costumes pack.



Oh, and the 'Purchase' button on the Alternate Costume pack doesn't work, so I can't get it either.
