Managed to download Firewalker for PC, but still not successful for alt appearance pack. Damn checkout just goes round and round.

Because you're doing it wrong.
Log in with the account you have ME2 registered to, Profile (in the sidebar) and then "Your registered game Promotions".

Yes, I suppose it would be too much to ask for the PC version to take me to that page when I click on the in-game link or, heaven forfend, actually download it for me.  The method you just described?  Broken, from a UI design perspective.

If it helps, I bought it for 360 much earlier, while I was waiting for the Hammerhead to go "live", and now I regret it. It's only a couple of points, sure, but the novelty lasted around 1 minute 28 seconds before I thought "damn, that was a waste."

I should have saved those points for Kasumi... now if Kasumi costs more than 400points I'll have to buy a whole load more just to make up the difference.

Erm, we were talking about the costume pack.
 
And 560 points for Kasumi? Dammit. I don't have a card that Microsoft accepts online, so I have to buy a prepaid points card for 2100 MS points for £17.99. Just for the extra 160 points I need, which just so happens to be what I wasted on the costumes. Typical. I'm an idiot.

Apparently if you download the firewalker pack off the in game thing you can do it but if you do it from download history it says it won't with a error code

for xbox version
