p.s. the charcter outfits for 160 ms points is almost an insult to the whole idea behind the cerberus network, bioware should stick with this friendly idea as much as possible, its sort of like what radiohead did with their last album(i.e.) they offered up their album for whatever price people wanted to pay for it, they gained the largest amount of money out of any album they ever released, kindness to your fans/customers instead of rigid profit tactics is well rewarded, loyalty and larger profits will almost deffinitley ensue, either way im pretty happy with the dlc so far, though i would really like a chance to get all of the other armors i hope they continue adding things on a regular basis

i love me2, the replay value is phenomenal, but i really hope the cerberus network holds up to its customers expectations, its rare that people get this dissapointed over something that isnt so bad, all that means is that bioware has all of our attention, they are in the position to change gaming forever in my opinion(they already have with this game) but even more so, true blue amazing dlc's from them would be brilliant, and honestly its what i expect, i hope they add new armor and weapons frequently that would be amazing, they truly are in the position to make this an ever-evolving game
This is true.
Borrowing from Kotor, will they choice the Light side or the Dark side in order to change gaming forever.

On planets that were 50 below 0 or worse, there were cold hazards, the Mako was fine, while the Firewalker is a little **** whining about the cold. The Mako looked like it was in one piece in the crash pack, in better shape than after it went through the conduit in ME1 anyway. There should be a mission to go rescue the Mako, there's more than enough room in the Normandy's hangar for it.
Combat was retarded easy, I wanted to get out and fight the Geth Collossi on foot so it would at least be a fair fight. that would have made this dlc awesome.
Firewalker handling: win However:(Boost and jump work in concert but not simultaneously?)
Firewalker combat: fail (where the hell are my shield and structure readout. That warning klaxon was freaking annoying. Also let me get out of the damn thing so I can shoot the big things with the Cain or at least use the sniper rifle.)
Firewalker exploration: Fail (Like other people have said get rid of invisible walls add in ME1 style environments etc.)
Firewalker surveying: Epic fail (that shaking around **** is retarded let me get out of the damn thing so I can play a mini game to see what the hell the yellow circle was instead of hovering over it like a moron going through caffeine withdrawal.)
THIS this oh.. and this.
Perfect review.

Just out of curiosity, it states that it's "free with cerberus activation." I don't usually mess with this kind of thing, so it's a little new to me. Does this mean that only if I had bought the game today and activated the Cerberus Network I would get the Firewalker pack, or can someone whose had the game for some time to do it for free as well. If so (or if not), how do I go about doing this?
Addon: Also, how the hell is everyone playing with vehicles in ME2? Am I missing something, or is this only available with the Firewalker pack?
lol
OMG!
total n00b alert......
You know how they say no question is dumb... well here is the exception.I pitty the human race...... but at least he made me laugh....
Wow. It's obvious from the "total n00b alert," and the fact that you place so much weight upon video game knowledge like the survival of the human race depends on it, tells me you must be one of the new breed of fat pasty asthmatic children, that know how to use a cell phone more than they know how to handle themselves in a fight. Congrats on enhancing the human species, douche.

Dont get me wrong Mass Effect 2 is one of my favorite games of all time and as i said before I really do appreciate all the free content but i really wish a little more thought would have went into the release times of some of it.
I am also aware of the paid DLC(Kasumi's) in the beginning of April and from what I hear its going to be an hour and a half long of play and like I said thats what I heard so I could be wrong in terms of the length. Which means a game that costed me 74 dollars when released will end up costing me somewhere around 82 dollars for a couple of guns, a set of armor, some grenades and some chick for my squad who I can only use for what seems like barely any time at all. I may be looking at this all wrong but I really wish alot of this stuff was available at certain points during my original play thru. What you guys should have done was to make certain content only available at a certain time or to come with certain stipulations regarding when that particular DLC would be available during the original play thru all while leaving it optional and just like everyting else if the player decides whether or not to get the DLC then there will be consequences either good or bad depending on how the playthrough is going and at what point the player decided to start downloading the content.

haha yea, and ever notice in almost all of the demo videos bioware released of the game, shepards got full blaze renegade eyes? i can just see the whole crew sitting down to watch star wars and route for vader, and then watch us download content and give eachother high fives when we buy uneven amounts of ms points, and dance in circles when one of our crew members dies in the suicide mission, they get it all in the online feedback in our options menu, which ( not joking anymore) should be put to good use, they have no excuses now, NONE

What if the free DLC has bugs, doesn't work, or has other performance issues?
Since it was free are people unable to discuss it?

This Firewalker Pack Is an absolute joke. The 5 missions friggin suck, I understand its free and all and bioware has given quite a bit free content that I appreciate but like most people I have already beaten the game and it almost seems as if this firewalker content should have been part of the original play thru. After the fact it just doesnt seem to fit very well. For cryin out loud you mean to tell me you guys couldnt include some stinkin hover craft with the original release and on top of that what do I actually need new outfits for my squad if there arent any missions where I can actually see them on and what good is the arc projector if its just gonna sit in the armory.

the problem was mostly w/ MS not Bioware... and ppl are complaining about it coming out at 11am, while the day has 24hrs.
ppl complain that it's not long enough. ppl complain they can't get it to work then find out it their own incompetence. My attitude is towards ungreatful retards who can't aprecieat that ppl spend a lot of time away from their families so we can have more fun then get the finger by said ungrateful retards. If theres a problem Bioware tries to fix it they are not perfect and things go wrong.. you didn't buy a car or a house you bought a game.
So yeah I checked my attitude and understand these things and I'm greatful for what they do, like many many other ppl. If i don't apreciate it i don't DL it and move on. but you don diss the work of hard working ppl fact being 99.9% of these ppl can't even do what BioWare does.
Notice: constructive critisism everyone would understand...
anything else to say TJsolo or js99 what'shisface?

The answer of you having the attitude problem is clear with the words that you use. A player would need to download it to know whether or not they would like it.
So bro but that is how this works.
They make a product to be played.
They make a forum for feedback on how it plays.
People provide feedback. What they say is up to the people and how it effects or doesn't effect Bioware is up to Bioware. Most of the posts have been constructive on the Hammerhead, excluding yours because you are complaining about complainers. Redundant and useless.
As I type that, I see the irony or relation...so feedback will continue you might as well cover your eyes and play(maybe not play in your case) ignorant.

Whinig, and being arrogant and self righteous is not constructive critisism... that's the point.
I've DL'd it and played it... if I don't like it I can delete it.. I got it FREE the other point I was making
If I pay for content and the quality sucks I'd understand you being Irrate...
but complaining about something like you can do better? you are then being ignorant.
Feed back doesn't equal being rude. you want to send feed-back send use some respect or decorum in what you say, you think they listen to ingrates? heres the answer... NO. they don't... the fact that you didn't like that I called you out proves that you don't like how i did it... You think they might feel the same way about your "critisism"???

Firewalker was solid enough. It felt rushed, but I wasn't disappointed when compared to other side missions and given that it was free. If it had cost me something, I'd be upset. But it didn't, and it was ok. Not good, not bad, just ok.
That said: This pretty much finalizes that side missions in ME2 are crap.

Claiming something "is a joke" or "friggin sucks" isn't critical, it's just lazy. His feedback was straight garbage. If English is your second language, I do apologize. Pro-tip for j9933s, you don't have to buy anything extra so don't start lamenting about the game's total price going up. You don't have to pay extra for anything, it's just that you chose to.

But I must admit I was very disappointed with this DLC, no combat no nothing. Only one of the "missions" was challenging.
It would have been great, to have a few "normal type missions" like maybe have to go and find something to make the hammerhead work or along those lines.
My only worry is if this is some kind of standard I will probably not get anymore DLC's. I know one should not complain when something is free, but still, the quality let it down, the speech was different in a bad way compaired to the "real" me2.
hmm i dont know, just not what I expected I guess.
