If something is free, that does not mean it should be lame.

It is not very lame, but easy, I must admit it. I agree, this is a good start.



THERE ARE NO ZOOM why? It was the best part of Mako on PC. I know that people who has X360 version of ME1 only, do not know waht I'm talking about (I have both - PC and X360, and the games are not the same - MAKO especialy) I didn't like to play X360 verion, so I bought the PC version of ME2 only.

MAKO form PC has great, sniper zoom.



Add to Hammer zoom options like Mako had ( PC MAKO), the status bar and the possibility to get in/off - this will make perfect vehicle. Missions will come, I hope, as DLC.

I'll pass Mako, if Bioware team make the improvements :) I hope they'll do

The one thing I dislike about the Hammerhead missions is that when I am in the Hammerhead I can't save the game. This is unpleasant on long missions given how fragile the Hammerhead is to damage and death.  It is tedious to repeat entire missions from the start.

i need help on the PC download for firewalker, I can't get this firewalker thingy thru cerebreus even now that i am logged in. clicking the new download link on the cerebreus network opens this page only. https://masseffect2....OFB-MASS:20834

I don't want the alternate outfit pack, and I do not see any firewalker for download.. any ideas guys?

Go to that page. Then CLICK on the Mass Effect 2 Logo at the top of the page. This takes you to the page that should list everything you can download via Cerberus including the Hammerhead.

click on the the MASS EFFECT logo ot the Bioware shop (the site where you can buy the outfits), it should direct you to your account, or just login to you account - you should have had acces to download site.

You can zoom in with the Mako on the Xbox version as well.

No, you can't have the sniper scoope ot the Xbox MAKO like PC Mako. Xbox Mako is no fun for sniper fan

Yeah, Im sorry, the firewalker content is garbage. It is, however, free...so Im not calling foul here.



No save ability coupled with the fact that 3 bullets from a geth pistol cause you to explode in a fireball causes you to have to play extremely conservatively, spamming unlimited auto homing rockets from halfway across the map, so you dont even get the satisfaction of shooting.



Terrible, terrible, terrible.



But at least I can thank Bioware for *not* including this in the regular mission arc, so it is completely optional.

The MAKO was indestructible on Casual, but The Hammerhead can be destroyed by regular Geth troopers on Casual, they not only made Shephard a piece of sh*t compared to the god shephard in ME1 (now it feels like I'm playing Grand Terminus Allaince IV, but I can live with that) they also did the same to the vehicle. The MAKO has a 155mm cannon and a machine gun that is much better then crappy missiles. The MAKO has better shields then The Hammerhead. The Hammerhead doesn't stand a chance against The MAKO. The MAKO appears to be quite intact in ME2, why can't we dig it out and let Legion and Tali reapair it and let Garrus calibrate the guns?

Thanks Bioware I love my hover tank! I liked the way it maneuvered and that I could lob seeking rockets all day long. Now that it's out it's time to bring back the old planet-side missions from ME1, so I can roam around and open her up. It's a good start and I see a lot of potential for this vehicle. I did notice a glitch(?) with the target reticle. I had the Arc Projector equipped before I got in my tank and my tank adopted it's target reticle. I thought the "9" displayed at the bottom was ammo for another weapon the entire time. LOL

To jump press E to collect research press V. Took me a while to figure out how to collect research. Keys need to be updated under options and there should be more information.

ok nice to have free stuff but why cant i collect research in hammerhead it says press right mouse then stay close to collect it aint working any one got any ideas as i have tried 3 different mouse

The key mappings were wrong for me. Just check out what your key bindings say in the options.

The tool tip says Left Shift and RMB. But mine were bound to "E" and "V"

Man are u drunk...one thing is constructive criticism which I am all for...but another thing is just complaining about something which is free...works fine...and did I mention It was free....what part of your criticism is meaningful?
Your just complaining that you didn't like it...so,hey I liked it, I am not a fanboy, I hated the new way of exploring planets but I also didn't like how repetitive the mako was,every place looked the same,you basically had to do the same **** over and over,just like the new way... if you'd ask me what would I preffer I'd say something like the mako but without having to do the same **** 1000000 million times...but you don't see me whine about something that came our way for free,you don't see me cry about a new costume pack which is OPTIONAL,yes that means if you don't want it, don't buy it.

Here's the difference mate
4 year old brat ranting and whining:
"The new costume pack sucks,it's a rip off, bla bla bla, people who buy it are morons,ME1 rules bla bla bla
the new hover vehicle mission sucks,they're short and pointless and bla bla bla,"

Constructive criticsm:
I feel the new costumes pack is too expensive/I will not buy this pack because of lack of more characters/ I don't think the new costumes look as good as to spen points on them/ May be next time you could include/I'll skip this one but I would like to see in another dlc ....etc ect ect
The same could go about the new mission...

I loved me1 and I also loved me2,there are things I like and dislike from both...

My point is if you're going to complain at least try to do it in a way it may eventually lead to something cool...repetitive mindles whining and ranting is rarely taken into cosideration...

Of course you are free to do it..but I think It won't take you anywhere

Yes, you can sniper zoom on the 360. LT to zoom up to the "iron site" type view above the cannon, click right thumb stick/R3/RS whatever you wanna call it. BOOM! You are now in sniper zoom with 2 different zoom levels. It took me a while to discover this one, but its there.

While I'm neither defending nor condoning the Hammerhead, In a 1-on-1 with the Mako, I'm afraid the Hammerhead would win hands down.  The missles on the Hammerhead are seeking, and it's so incredibly easy to strafe and jump in the Hammerhead, that it would be virtually impossible to manually aim with the Mako.  In reverse, all the Hammerhead has to do is aim in your general direction.  Not to mention I can fire the Hammerheads rockets off like a machine gun, while the Mako has to reload it's shells (I assume that's why it takes so long to fire again), and it's machine gun overheats.  So, while the Hammerhead does lack in armor, it more than makes up for it in agility.

Don't have the 360 version, but that sounds like it's more trouble than it's worth, when in the PC version all I have to do is right click.
