I also think it would be an interesting angle if I had to bring a Tech-inclined squad member aboard to enable such features as homing rockets and self-repairs. That need not be Tali or Legion - anyone qualified for the vent shaft run would do, only Tali or Legion could make the repairs faster.
Even better if these features showed up as upgrade options on my research lab computer first. In the new section "Vehicle Upgrades".
Well, maybe a future DLC mission pack will contain a Hammerhead patch?

Not totally dissapointed, but I spent more time scanning the planets in the mission systems for resources then the actual missions. It's like flying a cardboard box with a homing rocket launcher.
Long story short, I'd rather have the Mako and exploration over what we have now.

Little things that irked me, though:
- needs more HUD, only having a siren to tell me that I'm about to die is... not helpful
- not very durable - for a TANK, it feels a bit flimsy, it doesn't seem to take a lot more hits than you in normal combat, I think having some upgrades to research could fix that pretty nicely in future missions with the Hammerhead
- hoped for more out-of-vehicle segments (which include shooting), that was the bit that made the Mako real fun - that you got some variety in missions

So i just got the new DLC for the 360. Do i have to make a new game to play the new missions or can i play them with current team? Also i bought the new outfits for Thane and them, do i have to start a new game for those to be seen also?
No. You can use your DLC wherever and whenever you like. Unlocks automaticly ingame when downloaded. Check your private terminal.

The Hammerhead, however, acts like a vehicle made out of cardboard. I don't know how many times it melted in the lava. Driving it on the missions felt like I was playing Super Mario Brothers trying to jump from one mountain ledge to the other only to crash and burn. The inability to save in mission was very annoying to me as it took me sometimes 10 frustrating minutes to jump from one rock ledge to another only to find I couldn't save my progress.
Don't get me wrong. I appreciate the DLC support BioWare is giving ME2. I just think it needs to improve. I hope BioWare will consider a patch incorporating the many suggestions fans are making. As stated by many others here, there needs to be some ability to repair the Hammerhead, a HUD or map, and having your characters get out and explore more. A driving tutorial mission would be nice.

While the Mako's handling was unrealistic (climbing up mountains at 60 degree angles and surviving rollovers that would total a Leopard 2 tank) it didn't really bother me. I sort of thought of it as a moon buggy with a cannon.

Excuse me but I suggest you read the message again. I never said the Mako was hard to drive. The Hammerhead was hard to drive and I suggested a driving tutorial for it.
