Will the firewalker dlc be available from midnight?? I live in the UK, so midnight here is around 7pm in New York, 4pm on the West Coast. Or, do we in the UK need to wait until midnight US time?? Cant wait though, it looks awesome!  Also, it would be nice if you could maybe, say, take the elevator down another level and actually walk round the garage where the Kodiak shuttle and Hammerherad are stored.  Just being able to look through the window in engineering is frustrating!

After watching how the hammer head works in the videos, it looks like it handles way too easily. More like a space ship than an actual tank. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but the original mako looks more rugged and fun to handle than this hover tank with homing rockets. In ME1 I disliked wandering the generic planets, but I loved doing the plot missions like on virmire and Ilos. I'm hoping that kind of game play will make a return for ME3. I can't see myself paying for any hammerhead DLC unless they're lengthy missions.

Geez, DD, how is that any worse than driving on empty planets from ME1? At least here something happens. And there can be more missions in the future. Consider it a "test run" or something. Cheerio, mate!

-I would take improved Mako driving levels from ME1 using the graphics we see in ME2 over this any day of the year. With everything we’ve seen in those video clips, BioWare could have just put a gun on the Kodiak Drop Shuttle to do everything the Hammerhead is doing. No wonder this thing didn’t make the final game in time.

As for the “test run“ idea. It’s a bit late to be bringing out stuff for a game that’s still experimental in any form. Instead of releasing a full sized expansion pack with a lot of missions (or at least 5 long ones) for this thing we get another half done product with what sounds like one mission that might be worth a damn to do.

I'd also like to know when to expect it to become available, if anybody knows roughly what time other downloads became "active". I need to download it between midnight and 7am so that I'm not paying for the bandwidth, so I'm hoping I'll be able to download it tonight after midnight. Otherwise I'll probably have to wait until tomorrow night, technically wednesday. Which is only an extra 24 hours, hardly life-threatening, but still... it'd be nice to know.

I have a question. As you probably know, 'Tuesday' is relative. It tends begin up to 23h sooner in some parts of our globe than in others... So is there any timeframe of release in GMT or CET?

PS.

For me Tuesday begins in 1 and a half hour :)

Hehe, it's 8 hours into Tuesday here. ;)

Bioware should work off Aussie time.

I'm expecting it to just turn up at some random time in the morning (US) / afternoon (UK).

Still, fingers crossed it'll appear at midnight GMT, though I seriously doubt it.

This. Then I could play it when I get home from work tonight. Most likely won't hit until the 24th for us though.

Tuesday here for half an hour and still no Firewalker mission pack. Sucks to be European. You're always quiet early to check if something was already released only to find out it's not out yet and by the time it does get out, you're already bloody tired and falling asleep.

It's probably really sad that I'm going to wait for a couple of minutes before going to bed just to see if it becomes available.... oh, I'm going to the special hell for this... ;P

Trying to decide if I want to whip up a new career for this or dive into a save from another game. Hmmm, decisions, decisions. Also trying to decide if I should stay up until 3am for this, or just get a good restful sleep and play it first thing in the morning on my DAY OFF! :wizard:

I am in the same time zone as Bioware- Moutain Time - If its anything like the other free dlc it won't be released for another 17 hours...
