After watching how the hammer head works in the videos, it looks like it handles way too easily. More like a space ship than an actual tank. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but the original mako looks more rugged and fun to handle than this hover tank with homing rockets. In ME1 I disliked wandering the generic planets, but I loved doing the plot missions like on virmire and Ilos. I'm hoping that kind of game play will make a return for ME3. I can't see myself paying for any hammerhead DLC unless they're lengthy missions.
I think Firewalker is just a prelude to future DLC missions, maybe a full expansion. Then maybe we'll get some ME1-type story mission featuring the Hammerhead like the ones you're describing. Until then, afew N7 mission are enough for me. At least we get to try it.
The Hammerhead kind of reminds me of the TX-130 Fighter Tank from the old Clone Wars video game on the PS2. Albeit this one can fly. I'm a little irked by the fact that we're still fighting slow-movibng targets and infatry just like the first game. I was hoping we might be able to fight enemy hover-tanks.
