 So I recruited Velanna and we're going back into the mine to rescue her sister, but after I get to the bottom of the spiral staircase once I enter the mine, it won't let me exit the little room you start in to go into the main area of the mine. Is there another way you're supposed to get in?

Have this same problem! Got into the mine before recruiting the elf!

I was able to complete the main quest in Silverite Mine; but when I returned to the mine, I was not able to go down the stairs to do any side quests.

i was able to do everything right away, i even had the elf with me in the mine. but i have not been able to get back into the mine either, dont think its a bug, just the exit, by the bridge, doesnt act as an entrace

From what I'm reading in other posts, once you leave you can't return. WTF????
