No offense to anyone that is blind / knows blind people meant. Just my opinion on what the ugly visor things those two wear.

Man you guys are so quick to jump on to the "What the hell, Bioware?!" bandwagon these days.

Though I do think it''s unwise to sell a "Alternate Appearence Pack" for two bucks. If anything, they should've sold the Hammerhead for two dollars and put the AAP in the Cerberus Network.
So if anything, we're winning in the end. We're getting something awesome for free, and the option to pay for something average. Seems fair to me.

From what I've been hearing about the Hammerhead, it isn't even worth 2 bucks. It might barely be worth being free.

Of course I made them up, only Garrus knows it.cruc1al wrote...
Where in the game are those reasons stated, exactly? No, they weren't. You just made them up.

Then don't download it.

Oh pleeeeease Bioware. I need more substance than one-off missions to bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3.Commander Darmok wrote...

Just settle down people. Let's come back here in a couple of months, and if we still only have $2 appearance packs and 15 minute one-off missions, then we can talk.
Do I think this should have been free? Yes. Does this, combined with Kasumi = the end of the Cerberus Network and the beginning of nickeling and diming your souls away? No. If it is?

Jack's outfit to me is awesome EXCEPT for the glasses. Same with Thane's. Make those ridculous glasses optional and I'm set.
And they finally fixed Garrus armor. About f***in time!
Quoted for great justice!

There's already so little options for customizing characters in ME2 that I didn't care what they looked like after a while, but this just makes them look worse to me.

And you can't ride on Jack's back ...
Still, considering I bought the costume pack that was released for Guild Wars' last wintersday celebration, I can't really judge anyone who buys this. Personnaly, I just dont see the point of paying for 3 npc costumes in a game like ME2.

The Varren Companion.
Remember that Varren on the Krogan homeworld? The one that follows you? It could sit in your room, and do nothing. Or eat your fish and chase the space hamster around in circles.
You mustn't forget the usefulness in missions. Such as Thane's.
Wouldn't it be nice to persuade people by having a Varren stalk out from behind your legs growling menacingly?

Does anyone know if there will be a large on disc DLC collection they release later down the line?

Consider this. Everyone seems to go back to the horse armor. I know tons of people bought it. What about the Orrery? Bethesda started out with some truly crappy DLC. Then they moved on and released Knights and Isles, and look at Fallout. They're the model of good DLC. BW has always sucked at DLC. (Read: SUCKED!) Just because a company CAN nickel and dime (which is what this is,) doesn't mean it'll stay that way. If, in a few months, they release an Awakenings style expansion for ME2, we'll all forget about this and laugh in years to come. If they don't start to release anything substantial, the nerd-rage will kill the DLC plan, and it will simply stop.
BDTS was pretty good, though overpriced. That is how DLC should be approached. A mission with a new story and new characters and different ways to complete the mission.

Amen. Horse armor gave you some benifit. This appearence pack could easily net you nothing. Not sure about you guys but those characters they pick normally stay on my ship 24/7. Now if they put Tali in a cheer leader outfit and gave Mirianda some actual armor..

And here I thought the Cerberus Network was set up by EA to screw over people who prefer to get used games instead of having to pay $60 for a new one that isn’t worth $40.RiouHotaru wrote...
…We've got a TON of free DLC so far. The point of the Cerberus Network is to encourage people to by the game new…
Lets see out of the ton of free stuff we got:
-Zaeed. A squad mate who couldn’t have his own recruitment mission or have an actual dialog with. Oh yea a new heavy weapon in the form of a flamethrower (granted this is the best one but still flawed)
-The Normandy Crash Site. A fairly moving little area but lacks any real substance at all. But hey, lets all go hunting for dog tags and pick up some element zero. Should have been a lot better.
-Cerberus Armor and M-22 Eviscerater Shotgun. Armor that has no customization at all and yet again no removable helmet option.
-ARC Projector. Just what we really need another heavy weapon.
-The Firewalker Hammerhead pack. If the footage I’ve seen of this is correct its not worth even being free. About 10 minutes of added gameplay. Yippee!
Other than Zaeed the rest isn’t all that impressive at all and frankly I wish they would have just bundled it all together in one pack instead of giving us a bone every few weeks in the hopes that gamers will keep playing this game instead of moving on to other ones by other companies.
