Amen. Horse armor gave you some benifit. This appearence pack could easily net you nothing. Not sure about you guys but those characters they pick normally stay on my ship 24/7. Now if they put Tali in a cheer leader outfit and gave Mirianda some actual armor..

This made me imagine Tali in a cheerleader outfit (with her suit still on under it) and Miranda dressed as a Knight.

Now that would be awesome!

I thought, that paid DLCs wouldve been something as "Brand New Missions" or "Brand New Character", something interactive and everlastingly enjoyable. Not lousy costumes options with a freakishly awkward sunglasses (Thanes deeply characterisation doesnt need an addition of a ****ing Horatio-nose-wearing bull****). Jacks outfit looks quite fine and Xena-like, but that pasta around her eyes seems to me like a commitment to create a partner for Data in Star Trek series.
At least Garrus looks fine, but it is still f***ucking paid DLC, yeah, I know, 2 dollars is not that much, but only plus you get from it are cooler (or less cool couse the glasses) looking characters in cinematic sequences... and that is far away from significant reason to buy it.
In conclusion, **** *F dlc makers, rather make something worthy to care - for money, like adding new interesting "Brand New Mission" or "Brand New Mission" or even "Brand New Character in Brand New Mission". Or finally FIX THE ****TY BUGS. And bring some old fashioned weapons, like bow which shoots exploding priests or ****-slaping that rapes on sight.

Id also like to add that if ME2 would be half as moddable as for instance Fallout 3 then something like this "pack" would be one of those crappy "Hey guys, this is my first mod" mods noone really cares about. But it would still be better than this as mods are free.

Those poorly executed shades, which are completely out of character just force the impression that some 12 year old wanted to do something cool, no matter how out of place it is in the story world.

And this just reminds me again of the "Art of the Game" videos where an animator (sorry dont remember the name) emphasized how the eyes are the most important aspect in the face for making a character come to life and how much work they put into that.

And all that work should be hidden by helmets and now this joke for official content?

Its like one hand doesnt know what the other one is doing.

Ofcourse noone has to buy that, but even the attempt to charge for something like this, is an insult to everyone above 8 years of age.

I'll buy it but ony to see Garrus's armor not having a ****ty hole. Something they should have done from the beggining,,, but hey. Anyways as for the others.. if I never see Thane with glasses or Jack with what seems to be ducktape.. I'll be very happy with myself.

FYI Should have been free, two bucks makes it 62 bucks! I'm counting Bioware! Lol xD:wizard:

I have questions about the acquisition method involved.

How do you check the balance of your points?

How do you purchase more if you don't have enough?

How does the pack download to your computer?

Costumes? You'd think they'd have better things to do... Anyway, most of my complaints have already been brought to light, so I'll just sulk about the fact that my former favourite developer is doing stuff like this. Brave new world, aye.

i do think this is a rip off. however for this game ill pay it. personally id of charged for the weapon and of had this as ceberus would of gone down much better with people may of been moaning however considerably less :D

EDIT: a totally different sort of colour or look would have been better (garrus discounted) would of really been better because i cant really see much change in thane and jack do look good though not dissing BW nor the person/s responsible

Depressing this is the state of gamers and why companies will continue to put out crap DLC.

Thank you guys for making sure DLC sucks.

If you don't like it don't support if. If enough people don't support it, this tells Bioware to go a different route.

However, if people do support it you're obviously in the minority. In that case Bioware has no reason to listen to you, and sitting here complaining is a waste of time. I know Bioware said "we read the forums, and look for feedback" but you know what trumps that? People supporting their decisions with money. You probably don't want to hear that but that's the way it works.

Ridiculous outfits. Yes it's good to see Jack get some real clothes (too bad the visor kills the look), and yeah I like Garrus getting his armor repaired, and... Well, I can't think of anything nice at all to say about Thane's shades...

Call me when for $4 or less I can put all the unarmored squad members in real armor. Until then, the current outfits will be sufficient. Though I think I will try to find a mod that unlocks Jack's loyalty outfit as soon as she joins the squad...

Yea yea, already covered the rudimentary facts of Econ101, I have a reply a few pages back on it.

I will vote with my wallet and voice my opinion on the crap that I see as crap.

Well that is just a part of it, go back and read it so you can catch up and not dredge up topics that aren't the topic.

so tjsolo, not trying to be hostile at all, i just want to be sure i understand you. you and others do not like the micro-dlc model at all?

i have seen the phrase "nickle and dimed" used a lot in reference to micro-dlc. if this is accurate, can you explain why you do not support micro-dlc? i'm sorry if you have and i have not seen it, i have not followed this thread in its entirety.

My statement addressing how this DLC is panning out, small bits, is that I haven't experienced a plan like this until now and at the time I first got ME2 I thought it sounded great.

However in implementation the smaller bits feel more shallow then larger spread out DLC.

Even the game to me feels trimmed in a way to make it more suited for smaller bit DLC.

It didn't take me all year to come to my conclusion of the DLC plan for ME2.

I said this here somewhere.

....It's $2. I swear, this forum is bound and DETERMINED to whine about stuff.

I mean come on. $2. That's like, what, a large coke at burger king?

I love that Bioware can be condemned for trival things like this.

And consider spending $3 on a cup of coffee, $3 on a cinnamon pretzel, and $3 on a muffin or two. Each of these purchases seems reasonable, but then when you buy all three you're up to the price of a dinner at a restaurant and aren't being delivered as much stuff for your money. People just don't demand as much value when the dollar amount is smaller, because they don't think about the price as much.

Which is funny, when you think about it, because bundling is a popular way to extract the most money from a given market. But then you're usually out of impulse buy territory when you bundle so the thought processes will be different.

Re: KainrycKarr: they should be condemned for it if it's lame, and it is.  It's almost on the level of trying to sell you new sheets for your bed in the captain's quarters, except in having to guess about whether the sheets are lame we know they got Care Bears on them.

Resist! Don't buy it!

This is clearly a test, how far they can go with such micro-payment DLC. If you buy this now, you may have to pay for every single alternative weapon and armor piece in ME3.

If all this required was for me to hand over a Toonie to Bioware I would be fine
with it, problem is, obviously, I can't do such a thing. See, my "digital
dollar” is valued much higher than my actual “real” one. For one physical dollar
I can get...well, nothing that will last me long, 80 MS points on the other
hand can get me a game from the Indie channel on XBL. Some of those games, like
Shoot 1up or I Made a Game with Zombies in it, are worthwhile products and show
you just what a dollar can get you on the console.

Now, double that price for these three costumes?
Thanks but no thanks, I’d rather buy two indie games.

I like Jack's outfit, sunglasses are silly though. Garrus armor looks good too since I never understood why he kept wearing that damaged armor.

Now here's what I'd pay $2 for.
The Varren Companion.
Remember that Varren on the Krogan homeworld? The one that follows you? It could sit in your room, and do nothing. Or eat your fish and chase the space hamster around in circles.
You mustn't forget the usefulness in missions. Such as Thane's.
Wouldn't it be nice to persuade people by having a Varren stalk out from behind your legs growling menacingly?

Hell yeah, I'd pay $2 for Urz easy.

why is it that bioware insists on making dlc that limits the facial animations aspect of their game? They give us armors that the helmets can't be removed and alternate looks with sunglasses to block out the characters eyes, well they eyes are where your players are going to be looking, so that should be the most important part of facial animations.
