Another headdesk towards Bioware's recent downward spiral. Adding sunglasses to characters who spend most of their time in the 'dark grungy second act' in dark places just fills me with 'I Wear My Sunglasses At Night' douchiness. In the game, I only really alternate appearanced Jack so she could actually put some clothes on and not catch her death on the Normandy, although I do see the appeal of getting Garrus in some repaired armour. I love Jack's new look, but the childish futuristic sunglasses ruin it so much it's a definate dealbreaker.

why is it that bioware insists on making dlc that limits the facial animations aspect of their game? They give us armors that the helmets can't be removed and alternate looks with sunglasses to block out the characters eyes, well they eyes are where your players are going to be looking, so that should be the most important part of facial animations.
This.
They MUST check the forums, right? In order to see what people like and what people don't like in the game. There have been countless complaints on the immersion breaker that is unremovable helmets. You'd think they'd take that on board with future DLCs, but they're just pummelling it in. Perhaps the team caught sight of how popular the CSI thread is, and decided to give players the option. Next we'll see Ugly Shepard replacing the canon Sheploo and the galaxy will be doomed.
As it stands it isn't worth the effort of paying for. I'm not going to use it and I'm not completionist enough to buy it and let it sit unused. As a Cerberus Network DLC, this would have fared much better. It's only three outfits which are barely retextures, and have absolutely no combat benefit to use. The free armours and heavy weapons are already infinitely more useful than this. It's a shame, because customizability and the ability to mix and match like is possible with the player character would have made this worth the money, if not more. I really like Jack's outfit, minus the shades.
