I may be in the minority i like Jack's new outfit, the visor included. Yeah it looks a little generic but i think it goes with her overall style.

Thane looks a little weird with the red sunglasses but i don't mind it, actually makes me wonder if it's Bioware's response the CSI thread on the forums.

If they come out with more costume packs then i'll buy this along with the other but i'm content with the ones all the characters have now. Plus, Garrus' scaring makes him look tougher.

Doesn't BioWare's description say "The Alternate Appearance Pack features new outfits for your favorite squad members, including Garrus, Thane, and Subject Zero."? The "including" in that phrase leads me to believe other characters are included too. Am I reading that wrong or do I misinterpret that?

That's my call too, but I don't know why they'd delay fully announcing what's in the pack unless there is some point in watching posters flame about the value of the content.

(I'd suggest they were guaging reaction and determining how many additional characters to include in the pack, but I don't think they'd be tinkering days before a release.)

Doubt it.  There's vids leaked showing the alt costumes in game and it's only those three.  I chalk it up to poor writing by Bioware.  God knows they've screwed up release dates within the same posts before.  They'll probably release another back for 3 more squad mates, but for 2 bucks you're not getting new costumes for everyone.

Let's see what will happen to that quote on the linked web page. Isn't it odd that we have to interpret any line they publish? If you are right then they sure are sloppy. ;)

Thank you Bioware for some ridiculous costumization that adds nothing to game!
Seriously... what is this s**t?! In Mass Effect 1 we could equip our squadmates in a way that not only affect their looks but gameplay...In ME2 we are playing barbies in space! In not complaining because we have to pay 2 dollars, I'm complaining but because it is pointless and we should had costumizable squadmates from the get go.
I will glady pay for Kasumi DLC and the free DLC so far has been great. But is really stretchin it...
Well I guess, you are free to not buy it.

Also, I never got why people complain about Garrus' facial scarring or implants, plus the holes in his armor. I thought battle scarring was admired, guess people went down.

It's not that it doesn't have an admirable or even badass quality to it, most people take issue with it because it's one big plot hole.

It's stated that the implants react to your thoughts and reactions, and that basically if your good, they heal on their own, and if not, they worsen. Garrus is a good guy with a good heart, so they should heal on their own.  Nevermind the fact that it's entirely possible to have the dermal regeneration upgrade already on the ship when you acquire him, in which case he should be healed almost right away.  I guess you could make an argument that maybe the dermal unit doesn't heal him instantly because he's Turian, but still it's incredibly unlikely it wouldn't have some effect if not total healing.

As for the armor, it's not reasonable for it to remain damaged.  Anyone that knows anything about combat, knows it's of the utmost importance to have your gear properly maintained and working at it's best.  Garrus' armor is ripped up bad, it's beyond stupid that it wouldn't be fixed instantly.  He's on a ship with resources and technology to produce and repair some of the most advanced equipment in the known universe, but yet they leave him with busted and extremely vulnerable armor for the whole game?  Give me a break.

Hahah!

We just got our Horse Armour! (even worse, atleast that protected the horse!)

What is strange is, it just doesn't make sense that this is paid DLC when compared to that firewalker DLC we're getting for free.

So, Bioware (oops, meant EA) is charging for texture packs now? I never thought Bioware would fall that low...

Well, I say the EA takeover is finally completed - or was it the journey to the dark side? Seems the same to me.

Minor updates such as these should be free on the cerberus network, would have taken very little time and work to make these compared to the other free stuff

Or you know, actually release all the alternate costume packs together for a larger price instead of a few characters at a time using nickel and dime methods..

Those glasses are pretty silly but I really like the new clothes on Jack and glad we can finally get rid of that hole in Garrus's armor.

Kanye West has recently been spotted with Jack. He hates to interrupt this thread but he believes that Garrus repairing his suit is really awesome and that his lady friend's glasses aren't worth mentioning.

I've got an idea! Make a Helmet Toggle DLC! I'd pay 2 bucks for that for sure. Really, I would. Maybe even 5 bucks. Maybe.

If they put out a helmet toggle...hope it applies to the glasses.

They really gotta respond to the feedback on that one eventually.

Kanye:  Yo Garrus, you did a great job killing them reapers and Imma let you finish but Jack has one of the greatest outfits ever!
