"Hey, Shep', wanna go skiing?
God >_<
Thanes' costume isn't quite as good, but his glasses doesn't ruin it as much. Thats... interesting.
As for Garrus'... Damn you, Bioware !
I'm sure they put a new, holeless armor for this guy just so we would buy the DLC. And I'm buying it almost only for that

Or the combo. Paying for ridiculous costumes doesnt make sense either.

Another point to mention about the price is that it doesn't make sense if you cannot buy another DLC for 400 points (yet). That's because you can buy 400 BW and 560 BW points, but you cannot buy 160 BW points. If a DLC of 400 BW points was in the pipeline then it would be a different story. And if this DLC is 1 of 4 then 4 of such DLCs makes it 640 BW points, which still isn't anywhere near a multiple of 400 or 560 points. The new Kasumi DLC is supposed to be 560 BW points, so that one is out.Captain Crash wrote...

Am I the only one who thinks that the price is a bit odd? I don't mind paying for it, but paying EA/BioWare 400 or 560 BW points for something that costs only 160 BW points doesn't make sense to me.

I don't care about the price, I care about that if I buy 400 points for a 160 points DLC then I've lost 240 points. Or if I buy 560 points then I've lost 400 points.Mikenator700 wrote...

As far as the 160 pts, that's something that is a huge problem with MS marketplace and this is why Microsoft is being sued. You can save your additional points ofr Kasumi but you'll have to buy an additional 500pts if you don't already have more pts on the books. MS is literally scamming their consumers by making them pay more than the list price.
I actually believe this suit will be a win against MS. They have to be breaking some kind of law with the way the points system is set up.

Being a bit of a William Gibson nerd, I kind of like the cyberpunk feel.
But being able to put some actual clothes on Jack is why they have a definite sale with me.

Now that Kasumi is $7, I won't be getting. I don't have enough points (677), but I would need 720 to get both. I'm not going to buy another mspoint card for 43 extra points. Oh well.
The alternate clothing pack really should have been in the Cerberus Network. I bet it was probably pressur from EA or Microsoft to charge for them, however, if it was Microsoft, then it would have been free for the PC (unless they charged on PC just to be fair).

TojKa1 I just read that about EA. I know this isn't the thread for that type of discussion but that has to be the worst gaming idea I've heard since the Sega Saturn. I will not pay for a demo, I don't care how long it is.
Gamers keep saying they won't pay for this or that, yet the companies keep doing it.
"Premium" DLC now dominates gaming, the horrific new DRM where you have to stay connected to their servers is polluting more games and is spreading to EA..
The fact is, we legitimate gamers keep taking it up the rear end from these publishers.
The only ones who win are the pirates.

It defies the demo's idea of "try before you buy" and becomes "buy before you buy". Does that mean that you get a discount when you buy the final product? Nah. Probably not.Warlock Angel22 wrote...

I'm sure they'll justify it by making the demos extra long.
Which nullifies the point of a demo, and bites into development time because now developers have to make the game and release a demo that people will pay money for. Yeah, great.
Then there's that talk on Fable 3's development about it being "episodic", I am REALLY not liking this future of games being packaged to us in bite sized chunks that we have to pay for individually and probably end up costing more.
Even if it didn't. If I buy a game, I want the freaking full game. I don't want to buy a disc with half a game on it and be told I can buy the rest later.

The future of gaming is looking pretty bleak, but i could live happily with the games i already own. Keyword OWN. I hope Mass Effect 3 will still be free of constant online connection and other stupid ideas, if not Mass Effect will be just another series that died before it's conclusion, like Command & Conquer
