The outfits are kind of cool, minus the glasses, those look kind of cliche 21st century sci-fi. The only appearance that I really like is Garrus' since his armor is repaired and he doesn't have a huge bandage on his head anymore. Is it worth paying for...? Not to me, even if it's only $2. Some people will buy it I'm sure. I wish they gave Jack and Thane actual combat armor or environment suits, then it might spike my interest.

I'm like, probly the only person who thinks this, but the sunnies don't look that bad, hopefully theyl look better in-game with animation and what-not, and finally, garrus fixes that broken armor, bout time =D

I can't believe they made Jack wear those glasses... I would finally have taken her with me just 'cause of this new, gorgeous outfit ! Finally she has some class to balance that missing likable personality (just what I think, only my opinion). But, nope, someone thought she would look great with... THOSE THINGS !

"Hey, Shep', wanna go skiing? Image IPB "

God >_<

Thanes' costume isn't quite as good, but his glasses doesn't ruin it as much. Thats... interesting.

As for Garrus'... Damn you, Bioware ! Image IPB

I'm sure they put a new, holeless armor for this guy just so we would buy the DLC. And I'm buying it almost only for that Image IPB

Or the combo.   Paying for ridiculous costumes doesnt make sense either.

Another point to mention about the price is that it doesn't make sense if you cannot buy another DLC for 400 points (yet). That's because you can buy 400 BW and 560 BW points, but you cannot buy 160 BW points. If a DLC of 400 BW points was in the pipeline then it would be a different story. And if this DLC is 1 of 4 then 4 of such DLCs makes it 640 BW points, which still isn't anywhere near a multiple of 400 or 560 points. The new Kasumi DLC is supposed to be 560 BW points, so that one is out. ;)

Am I the only one who thinks that the price is a bit odd? I don't mind paying for it, but paying EA/BioWare 400 or 560 BW points for something that costs only 160 BW points doesn't make sense to me. ;)

The RC Mako I bought  for my avatar was more than 160 points!

I don't care about the price, I care about that if I buy 400 points for a 160 points DLC then I've lost 240 points. Or if I buy 560 points then I've lost 400 points.

I gamble it will be released in 4 hours from now. That was the time previous DLCs were released as well. ;)

If the 80s sunglasses were dropped, we'd all be cool with them...

I think.

I'll buy it because it is just $2.00 and Garrus does look great. Jack has a great costume as well but I hate those glasses on her. Thane just looks like Thane, no big there.

As far as the 160 pts, that's something that is a huge problem with MS marketplace and this is why Microsoft is being sued. You can save your additional points ofr Kasumi but you'll have to buy an additional 500pts if you don't already have more pts on the books. MS is literally scamming their consumers by making them pay more than the list price.

I actually believe this suit will be a win against MS. They have to be breaking some kind of law with the way the points system is set up.

Being a bit of a William Gibson nerd, I kind of like the cyberpunk feel.

But being able to put some actual clothes on Jack is why they have a definite sale with me.

I would have bought this pack if it wasn't for the cost of Kasumi. Considering I bought the Gamerpics for 80 mspoints ($1), I didn't see too much of an issue of $2, ya it's overpriced but I loved the idea of Garrus' Armor being brand new and repaired and Jack being clothed.

Now that Kasumi is $7, I won't be getting. I don't have enough points (677), but I would need 720 to get both. I'm not going to buy another mspoint card for 43 extra points. Oh well.

The alternate clothing pack really should have been in the Cerberus Network. I bet it was probably pressur from EA or Microsoft to charge for them, however, if it was Microsoft, then it would have been free for the PC (unless they charged on PC just to be fair).

Unless this pack includes two new pieces for each part of N7 armor, no deal. I also heard that EA is planning on releasing demos for 15$. EA is certainly giving Activision a run for it's money for the "greediest publisher" title :D

TojKa1 I just read that about EA. I know this isn't the thread for that type of discussion but that has to be the worst gaming idea I've heard since the Sega Saturn. I will not pay for a demo, I don't care how long it is.

Gamers keep saying they won't pay for this or that, yet the companies keep doing it.
"Premium" DLC now dominates gaming, the horrific new DRM where you have to stay connected to their servers is polluting more games and is spreading to EA..
The fact is, we legitimate gamers keep taking it up the rear end from these publishers.

The only ones who win are the pirates.

I like the alternate costumes. I'm not much of a fan of the sunglasses, but I like the overall costumes. Plus it's nice to have something to cover jack up with before her loyalty quest just in case my nieces and nephew are over (I've been saying her tattoos are a shirt.)

It defies the demo's idea of "try before you buy" and becomes "buy before you buy". Does that mean that you get a discount when you buy the final product? Nah. Probably not. ;)

I'm sure they'll justify it by making the demos extra long.
Which nullifies the point of a demo, and bites into development time because now developers have to make the game and release a demo that people will pay money for. Yeah, great.
Then there's that talk on Fable 3's development about it being "episodic", I am REALLY not liking this future of games being packaged to us in bite sized chunks that we have to pay for individually and probably end up costing more.

Even if it didn't. If I buy a game, I want the freaking full game. I don't want to buy a disc with half a game on it and be told I can buy the rest later.

Garrus looks pretty cool in his alternate armor. Don't know about Thane, haven't used him yet on a mission. But those two didn't really matter, they looked already looked good in their normal costumes. Jack, however, is an entirely different case. I think she's a beautiful woman, or as beautiful a bald woman can be. It was just her clothing that I never really liked. Tattoos and tight leather, two things I don't really dig in combination with the baldness. This biker outfit, however, looks great on her body! So now she has a beautiful face ánd nice clothes... the perfect package, right?

Oh no, wait, they gave her glasses, too. Apparantly covering her body comes with the price of covering her pretty eyes too. Bummer.

The future of gaming is looking pretty bleak, but i could live happily with the games i already own. Keyword OWN. I hope Mass Effect 3 will still be free of constant online connection and other stupid ideas, if not Mass Effect will be just another series that died before it's conclusion, like Command & Conquer :crying:
