Yeah, paying for unnecessary digital clothing is not gonna happen. It feels just... wrong.

I was asked to "take this to the sticky" because obviously Bioware doesn't like negative critiques on their front page. They can be sure that it'll vanish in this topic quickly. It's a shame what Bioware became. :(

Anyway, here it is:

Title: The Appearance Pack 1 - It costs 400 points, not 160! Rip-off by Bioware!

Why? Because 400 points is the smallest amout of points you can buy. And even if you buy 800 in advance for buying Kasumi DLC in early April and the Alternate Appearance Pack 1 DLC now there are 80 points left.

Theremay be more DLCs in the future, granted. But now is not the future, nowit feels like a rip-off and I say it is exactly that.

I saw this coming but hoped Bioware would add a 200 or 160 point option once the new DLCs are out. They did not. Why Bioware? Are you so desperate in pissing of your customers these days? Well congratulations, it's yet another success! ../../../images/forum/emoticons/sick.png

Would have been a great idea for BW to make Kasumi 400 and the pack 160. That way one of their bundles(560) would have sufficed. Some people say "microsoft point system"(cop-out) but BW and MS are using the same points and BW even uses it for PCs.

The only way anyone would ever buy this, is that they'll price the Kasumi Goto pack will be 640 Bioware points, or even 1040 points. Meaning to rid yourself of these blasted point you'll have to fork out for this bizarre costume pack.

Cheers Bioware, using the Sims price plan are we?

Just bought 400 Points for a modest £3.10. Not very much indeed. Still waiting for the download to finish then see what it is like.

Really looking forward to that new character in April though. :)

Just installed it, and no shades does not seems to be optional after all. Which is a real shame since I rather like the clothes of Jack and armour of Garrus. The sunglasses on Jack and Thane are quite jarring.

Oh well, guess I'll be drinking one more beer at the club tonight with the 2$ I just saved :)

I hope there's some way to mod them off in the PC version...

Seriously doubt I'll be buying it.. those glasses are terrible and with no modding on the xbox.. well.. paying for just Garrus seems a bit over the top. Too bad.. guess we'll have to wait and see if we'll get more dlc's for the other characters later on.

I might still end up getting it in a while, depending on how many points I've got left over from other things.

No, that is just the minimum amount of points that you can buy.

Alternate costume pack is longer lasting than a 24oz soda, or a piece of gum, or a thing off the dollar menu, and technically you don't really need those either. So I'm wondering why you would buy a non-manditory item that sells for no more than 5 dollars and will last for maybe 2 mins, but complain about a non-manditory item that sells for no more than 5 dollar and will be in your game forever? Again, non-manditory. Saying something is not manditory, if out of my mouth, pretty much means quit ****ing like a blind baby.

Will buy the costumes once I get a chance.

no toddle for the sunglass's? after the whole bonus armor helmet thing you would have thought bioware would have made sure that you would not force you to wear things that obstruct a characters face to use new Armour/Clothes. at least the bonus armour helmets looked good but serously what the **** is jack wearing over her eyes?  it looks rediculus and ruins the awsome outfit she has

Sorry if this was asked before, but this thread is a mess:

Who gets the new outfits? Just the 3 on the picture or the entire squad?

Ok, please ignore the post: just checked the DLC page. Paying for only 3 new outfits sounds like a waste to me anyway.

As far I can see, Legonian, it is just these three... No doubt there will be three more Alternate Appearance Pack for the rest of the squad...
