I'll pay $2 for it. It's not much, they DID produce the content, they should get paid for it. That's what keeps companies in business you know. If you don't like it, don't buy it.
I am constantly amazed on what people find fault with on something that is totally optional for you as a consumer.

Maybe I am the gullible one, but if you want a GoW tshirt for your avatar on XBLive, you pay around a $1 for it. :)

Indeed. :)

Christ, people it's $2.

If you don't like the costumes don't buy them.

And if you can't afford $2 you shouldn't have a game system to begin with.

Also, we don't know whether the pack is limited to Jack, Garrus, and Thane only. It may be the entire team. We don't know. The press release specifically states that it will have "new outfits for your favorite squad members, including Garrus, Thane, and Subject Zero."

That phrasing suggests there's alternate clothing for more than three characters.

Sadly, it sounds like they're are the only three getting new clothing this time, according to this.

They seriously need to rephrase what they put on there.  I was hoping for more than these three.

Yeah, it's appearance pack #1, meaning if they take the same pricing route for all the characters, it will cost 640 points in the end. That's ridiculous. Thankfully we'll be able to pick and choose, I'll wait and see if the costumes get better.

Ah well... 2$... probably even less in €... Garrus and Thane look cool, I like Thanes sunglasses... Jack look cool but the glasses are... meh... but ah well...

Edit: You think 8$ are ridiculous?

I wasn't going to download that pack even when I thought it would be free...

*one of the few who doesn't seem bothered by the glasses* Even if I was, I'd get the pack anyway so Garrus doesn't have a hole in his armour; broken armour in battle? Really?

I find it funny that the big content such as Zaeed and the Firewalker pack are free, but stuff like this costs money.

I think something is wrong here.

This is the main reason I made this thread. The actual price of it is irrelevant - I don't care if it was a penny or 20 bucks, but I'm really curious at the thought process of charging for a very small (and honestly poorly made) costume pack as opposed to 5 free brand new missions that both release on the same day.

It 2$ now and and thats the problem, It sounds cheap but in fact is not think about it, they say they will be supporting new DLC tell Me3 so 2 year is a safe bet.
Now you drop 2$ here and there over the course of two years and they can easily nickel and dime you for 100$ or more with out you even knowing thats the beauty of lots of little cheap DLC's spread over a long time.

Thane in those glasses looks like Morpheus and the guy from Enemy Mine had a love child.

I can't even imagine what Tali, Miranda or Grunt are going to get.

Though I would pay out my ass if Zaeed's is a tux.

Man, horse armour was completely useless as the only worthwhile horse was the invincible one you got from the brotherhood.

I really do think this would have been a lot more palatable if they just released a big clothing/item pack for the whole squad, even though it meant charging more. Most people who buy this would probably also splurge out an extra £5 or so to get all the costumes at once (after all, if they release them all in installments it'll add up to a fair bit anyway), and the deal could be made sweeter by including some N7 bits for Shep.

*pictures Zaeed in a tux* *brain short circuits*

Seriously though, I'm inclined (or just hoping) to believe that the whole team is getting something in this pack. They did say "Including" Thane, Jack and Garrus. So they might just be using them as "poster boys" for the DLC above the other squadmates =P

Eh I might get it if I have extra MS points left over from buying Kasumi, after finding out if its worth it or not.

It sucks because of the visors. Everything else on the costumes is fine EXCEPT the visors. Whats even lamer is the fact I'll still pick it up for Garrus though. xD

They forgot to fix garrus head (the damage), but they might release a dlc for that one later.

Lol I can make better skins than this crap and get garrus undamaged armor only takes a few min but I guess bioware feels they should charge for cheap a** content. I worked on unreal tournament 2004 models and mods and it was easy so don't tell me its a b**** to work on.
