I really do think this would have been a lot more palatable if they just released a big clothing/item pack for the whole squad, even though it meant charging more. Most people who buy this would probably also splurge out an extra £5 or so to get all the costumes at once (after all, if they release them all in installments it'll add up to a fair bit anyway), and the deal could be made sweeter by including some N7 bits for Shep.

This.  I don't buy 'clothing' packs, its just not worth the money to me.  But if they put the clothing packs as extra in another DLC, like armor parts, or a good story, then that would be more a 'sweeten the pot' sort of deal.

It's not about who can afford it.....It's about is it worth it.  It aint.

Yeah, I was hoping for DLC like this to stay free.  I don't mind paying for new characters or missions, but things like guns, outfits, etc. don't really add anything to the game.

As xFred72x said, the price is irrelevant; it's the fact that they're making us pay for it that doesn't make sense.

If only we were able to remove the glasses... I could see Miranda with them, for a sort of femme fatale look, but other wise? Noo...

Just watch, by June there will be NO free DLC anymore. This is the start of it. I can understand a bit why they are charging for kasumi's.. But to charge for a few new outfits... It's against what they said originally. I think it's just about time to put ME2 away. I know what happens in it, and I have enough saves be set for when ME3 comes out. I refuse to support bioware on this. The Cerberus Network was there to get free DLC for those that either bought the game new, or paid the 1200 points if they bought the game used. Bioware I have to say I am disappointed in you guys.

Is Bioware not entitled to the sweat of it's brow?
No, says the cynical gamer, it belongs on the disc.

But seriously, I'm not buying it either.B)

I'm sorry but selling stuff like this should not be what people who play rpgs want for extra content.

I don't care if it looks good or not. I am a 100% Bioware fan so i'm buying this DLC to aid Bioware in Mass Effect 3.

Luckily BW ignores such idiots that don't have $2 to buy something you aid BW with. Seriously, stop moaning about this **** because it's annoying. If you don't want to buy it, fine, don't buy it. But stop complaining on Bioware's own forums, because such topics only start flame wars and complaining. I am pretty sure BW reads topics like this... and then they feel down because some idiots start a whole topic ''I'M NOT BUYIN THIS SHIZ I DUNT HAV 2$'' on BW's own forums while BW trust in their fans and always make the game to your willing using the feedback you provide, working day and night. And then you don't even want to pay 2$ for an pretty awesome appearance pack. Of course you can say ''I don't like this and that outfit'' but don't talk about that you won't buy this and ESPECIALLY do not make a whole topic about it. And how you know it sucks, have you seen it ingame? It isn't even out yet, and maybe the glasses look awesome on Jack in the game.

I'm not saying you are not allowed to discuss this. If you want to discuss it, do it on some other forums. Thank you very much.

Hey if you want to buy it more power to you. But get off your high horse. We have every right to question bioware on this. This is the kind dlc they said would be free to those that bought the game new. They had big news articles about it everywhere. See these are the bioware forums, and this is an issue we have with bioware.. Now unless you are an idiot you can see where I am going with this. Also, bioware on these forums made it clear, we don't have any say in how they make games.

Christ, people it's $2.

If you don't like the costumes don't buy them.

And if you can't afford $2 you shouldn't have a game system to begin with.

Also, we don't know whether the pack is limited to Jack, Garrus, and Thane only. It may be the entire team. We don't know. The press release specifically states that it will have "new outfits for your favorite squad members, including Garrus, Thane, and Subject Zero."

That phrasing suggests there's alternate clothing for more than three characters.

It's people like you that miss the point entirely.

You guys do realize that the Firewalker pack is free right? That DLC alone is probably worth 400pts easily by itself and we're getting it as a freebie. Consider the costume pack a small way of saying, "Hey Bioware, thanks for the free hammerhead! Heres a lil something extra for your time."

What point?  That we all knew at some point in time some DLC wouldn't be free?

I'm not wealthy or rich by any standard and I don't enjoy throwing away my money like the next sensible person. Considering a meal at your local fast food restaurant would cost you $2 or more and provide you with less satisfaction and enjoyment, the price for something optional seems pretty reasonable to me.  Don't want it, don't buy it.

The only way this is worth it, is if thane and jack can dramatically remove/put on their sunglasses and say pithy one liners, followed by a YEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH. Add a 0 behind that 2 and I'd buy it for that.

But from what it looks like now, what a lame DLC. This is going to be more infamous than Horse Armor.

Man, horse armour was completely useless as the only worthwhile horse was the invincible one you got from the brotherhood.

I tended to like White Horses more than any others, but Shadowmere was useful as mobile storage.

Does not matter at all. Stuff like this was advertised and promoted to be free from the get go. They made a big deal about buying the game new and getting the cerberus network for FREE DLC.

Really, I can't believe something like the Firewalker pack is free, but crap like this will be two dollars. Sad thing is, I'll probably end up buying it anyway. :P Must.... resist!

The description says "including Thane, Garrus and Subject Zero". If there are alternate costumes for other characters AND I CAN SEE WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE BEFORE I BUY THEM I will consider it.

Otherwise, I'm not paying $2 just to fix Garrus' armor.

If this is truly only the 3 outfits, I'll definitely pass. This makes me worry about the Kasumi DLC. :(

Personally I do not have an issue with them charging for this as it is a Fluff item that really does not add anything to gameplay.
