We are pleased to announce the release dates for 2 more pieces of Mass Effect 2 DLC.

The first, you have already heard of. The Kasumi - Stolen Memory DLC which we revealed back at GDC will be available for PC and Xbox 360 on April 6.

The second is a new DLC Item we are announcing today. There will be an Alternative Appearance pack where Thane, Jack and Garrus will each get a new appearance to use in game. It will be available on Tuesday March 23 (the same day as the Firewalker DLC).

I hope that the appearance pack is free DLC along with Firewalker, because outside of Garrus I think they look downright stupid. Thane is not Horatio Caine and Jack's sunglasses ruin the cool biker look and turn her into Geordi Laforge.

I don't want to be the naysayer that inevitably pops up in these threads, but I can't hold it in! I would pay for more custom outfits for my Shepard, but this appearance pack seems pretty pointless. Can we look forward to that down the road? The limit of 4 casual outfits was, I think, a disappointment to everyone.

Oh quit bellyaching.  I'm sure Tali and every other character will get atleast one more alternate outfit released.  Just cause she didnt get it first doesnt mean its not in the pipeline.  They have to space DLC out to make it a constant steady release.

Yeah you don't count. Tali is by far the most loved character in ME....hell her threads accomplished amazing things like getting to 900+ pages in 9 days. 99.99999% of the ME gamers either love Tali(males mostly) or like her as a squad mate(females).

Oh snap. 160 BioWare points, isn't that like $2? Considering it doesn't change your game play experience and it isn't at all necessary, I don't see a problem with a $2 costume pack.

900+ pages of adolesent nonsense in 9 days is not really something to be proud of.  I like Tali but some of the obsessed "Talimancers" scare the bejezus out of me, and seriously make me fear for the furture of human society. Then I remember most of them probably havent even had their voice crack yet and remember its just a phase and most will grow out of.

The glasses on Thane remind me of Shepard's aviators in Facepunch's ME paint adventure thread.

EDIT: I'd buy it if you included optional sunglasses for Shepard with the Alt Appearance pack.

I actually like the glasses for Jack.. It almost looks like an 80s throwback thing.. I think I'll wait for the Miranda alternate appearance pack though.. Plus please give Shepard some alternate casual looks.. He needs them the most.
