If there were side quests associated with the new outfits I might be interested, but as it is, I can’t help but feel this is the very definition of nickel and diming. Poor form, Bioware. Skins are something that should come with DLC, not as DLC.

Hey everyone remember when video games did not have DLC??.........I am excited because on all older systems we did not have DLC to keep our games feeling somewhat new and fresh, so appreciate at least a little bit that we get any type of DLC. Now pricing issues is something of a different story I think for those costumes they should be free but since there not I am probably still going to get it because of the fixed Garrus armor.
You mean the time when they thought if they wanted to extend the game, you can buy an expansion pack?
for PC maybe but when on older systems did you see that like playstation or ps2 or xbox?? please tell...

Yes, they did. Small bits of content were offered as free downloads, while much larger chunks were sold as full-blown expansion packs.Joel2211 wrote...

And seriously, why do we have to pay for the costumes? I could see paying for Kasumi being almost defensible, but this is just plain ridiculous (especially since there'll be an inevitable 3 more at least)...
I think you're missing his point. OLDER systems - like before the internet?
Back when games were 20-30 bucks and were complete??
Yes I remember and I miss those days.
Now days games get released with missing content so companies can sell it back to us for even more money.
Just like Kasumi.
BW themselves started saying recruit up to a dozen squadmates. then shortly after e3, they changed it. Look it up on Xbox.com, it still has the original release info that says it.
And also at e3 BW confirmed the exsistance of the hammerhead and said it was replacing the mako, So both the Hammerhead and Kasumi (who has more then half her data on the disc already) were planned to be part of the original game and was removed. So no I am not very happy that they cut content to sell back to us.
(good thing they are not charging for the hammerhead pack as well otherwise I would completely refuse to support BW with ANY dlc for ME 2.
your right about stuff that is already on the disc and sold again and good thing they are giving it to us for free but im almost positive alot of DLC that comes out is new content and my whole point is for people who complain about the NEW DLC that in the past we did not get that new stuff to keep our games somewhat new and fresh.

It was a standard feature in Mass Effect 1, and years later, in a more advanced and evolved game, we are forced to play with Helmet on and that sucks ...

I want gear witch reflect Shepard's class. Not that chunky gear all the time. Its good 4 soldier maybe but 4 other classes something like Kasumi gear would be nice---> tight and sexy.
And Kasumi will she be just a trigger to the new misssion or full member of the squad with full dialouge and romance option?

I second that motion for casual outfits... I want my femShep to have that outfit Kelly wears to your cabin after the final mission!!Ke11iente wrote...
Hey, $2 is a reasonable price to pay for a few costumes, for people who are into that kind of thing. They're giving you options, and I'm cool with that. Someone already mentioned this, but Thane's glasses totally remind me of the ME paint adventure thread.
Now to be annoying: give me more casual outfits! I want my fem!shep's ass to look hot.

Why don't we wait and see? Bioware isn't going to do anything last minute for Kasumi because people keep ****ing, they've set their minds on it, lets wait to see if Kasumi is an overhyped piece of garbage.

Now, while I agree with your "Let's wait and see" mentality, don't we need a hype first before something can be overhyped?incinerator950 wrote...

Yes, with Bethesda's Elder Scrolls: Morrowwind. There were 2 expansions, I think. This was on PC and Xbox, if I remember correctly. Bioware just released DA:O Awakening. Why not just take a little time to make a ME2 expansion. Make it bridge to ME3. Convince the most powerful corporations in the universe to fight with you against the Reapers. Aria T'loak's people, Migrant Fleet, Clan Urdnot, Cerberus (If renegade ending), The Council, Legion's Geth, all of them. Make it a mostly diplomatic DLC, with plenty of dialogue. Get gifts for convincing them to join your cause, like Geth Armor, sort of like Wrex's from ME, except it's given. This is what I want. I don't want skins, and heavy weapons that I will never use anyway. I want REAL DLC with REAL items. Not a bunch of tiny skins, heavy weapons, and boring/uninteresting characters who you CAN'T EVEN TALK TO OUTSIDE OF THEIR MISSIONS.

its an elaborate April fools joke everyone.
That releases March 23? No that doesn't sound right. I just think everyone needs to stop complaining and be happy with all we've got for free so far and be happy that we're still getting stuff even though now we have to start paying. The price really isn't bad at all.....those 3 awesome outfits are well worth the $2 we're asked to pay many times over.
it was a joke. Ha ha?

-If the Drell are reptilian and come from a desert like world why would one need or want to wear sunglasses? You would think that the Drell would be very accustomed to bright lights coming from a desert world and probably have eye protection that are a result of their evolution.
The glasses had better be an optional part, I seriously doubt it though since we cant hide helmets. Think I’ll go watch Omega Vice, Illum Five-O or CSI: Citadel and see if its just the fashion statement from those shows…
The Abridged Mass Effect 2, a must read.http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/105/index/1777005
