Hi everyone -

The Kasumi "Stolen Memories" DLC was launched today as the start of a year-long DLC release schedule.

We recognize that BioWare has a global community, and the Kasumi DLC today was originally intended to be an international event to reflect our truly global fanbase. Unfortunately, we encountered some last-minute legal complications around how DLC can be offered in different parts of the world that prevented us from including all territories except for our own offices, even though that was our original goal.  And for that, we sincerely apologize – our goal with this sort of downloadable content is to show all our fans worldwide how much we appreciate your support!

BioWare definitely really values all members of our world-wide Community, no matter where you live.  Accordingly, in the coming weeks, we will be announcing details about future DLC specifically for fans living in those territories which were excluded from downloading Kasumi when we said you would be able to.  We’ll announce more details in the coming weeks

Thank you all for your continued and ongoing support and participation in the BioWare Community – we really appreciate all your support over the past 15 years, and the future will be even brighter!

Sincerely,

Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk
Co-founders, BioWare

.......... none for europe?

OK, is this genuine?

No, its an edited version of the statement they released regarding the Bioware Bazaar and why it wasn't offered outside the US.

For this my vote goes to Valve. You hear me BW?!

Totally. I voted for them like an hour ago, and I don't even like Valve. Such is my disdain for their broken promises.

I haven't played a single game made by them. Apparently they will get many votes just becasue they're not BW.

You don't know "Valve time" very well, do you?

I happen to know Valve time quite well.  And if that's the case, tonight at 11:49 PM, Pacific time, sounds about right.

Don't worry, it's fake (hopefully). If Bioware said that it would release it for USA, then why are people from the USA here complaining too? It doesn't add up.

Yeah, it's fake.  It's an edited version of the statement they released regarding why the Bioware Bazaar wouldn't be available outside the US.

(Sorry for the second post on this, the first one didn't show up after I posted it.  So I figured it didn't go through.)

Valve is known for delays. Remember Half Life 2? And don't let us forget Episode 3. The fans are still waiting for it.

Probably bugs

The guys putting it on the site probably spotted a spider on the monitor and have to wait for maintenance to get a box or a can of pest spray.

Hmm must be serious if they have to call MS in to remove the pest.

On a side note i hate the hovertank or at least the very little freeroaming missions anyway.

Can we sue them for false advertising? It's definately not going to be out on the 6th, not by GMT anyway.

don't think so, as we haven't paid for anything yet, and we can't issue a suit over wasting time waiting either

You actually can't sue for most advertising, most lawsuits require a contractual agreement to be able sue, of which advertising isn't considered and contract, we have no consideration(haven't incurred a tangible injury) until we buy the product.  Plus, thousands of others would have sued for the many other game delays.
