This thread is moving along rather nicely. I'm guessing before I read all the posts that there is an Issue with Kasumi?

Question: Why did it take an article from IGN to tell us this? No statement from Bioware...

How are there server problems? The new picture pack and the trailer both made it up fine today.

The Kasumi DLC is approximately 700 MB -- apparently too large for Microsoft's tiny XBox servers to handle.

Dear, the 765 MB large DLC is already on the goddamn servers. All that's left for them to do is release a soddin' title update and flip some switches so it becomes downloadable.

Hell, I'd be content with just the latter for now.

So this is how Bioware cares about their community ?

They're even to lazy to tell us what's actually going on and why the dlc isn't allready released, that's sad.

So , at least for me( and the rest of mid europe) this day will be over in around 50 minutes so now I'm going to bed and hopefully the dlc will be up tomorrow.

Wish all you americans and me2 fans who are still up, enough luck to actually play the dlc soon.

New console update.  Whenever a new console update happens MS servers take a hit.  ALso ME 2 hasn't been updated today which it should so that may be part of the problem.

Oh well, can't really do anything about it now. Just sit back, relax, and try not to check xbox live every 30 seconds.

...

...this could be harder than I thought.

REALLY?! Of course BioWare would have it come to PC first. While console gamers sit and watch. **** this. Really pissing me off BW sure you shouldn't change your name to Bungie?

Their PR concerning anything other than Twitter or Facebook has gone down the drain.

This is complete bulls**t...EVERYTHING bad that happens, Nowadays, Can be contributed to failure or error by Micro****...If it weren't for Winblowz, They'd be bankrupt by now...The Xbox has been making a loss for them since it's initial release, Way back when and even now, The 360 is still making a loss for them. They continue to screw things up and why ANY SELF RESPECTING COMPANY would CHOOSE to work with/for/through them, Is beyond even the most intelligent individuals thought processes.

They NEVER accept blame when everyone worldwide knows they're to blame, They constantly impede releases, They perpetually release intrinsically flawed software, Requiring myriads of updates to make secure and stable...It's DISGUSTING!

Either someone needs to kick the heads of departments of Microsoft in the ass, CEO included, Or a NON-Governmental, IMPARTIAL examiner needs to go through Microsoft with several fine-tooth combs and BURN everyone and everything that causes even the slightest of problems...Or better yet, Someone needs to shut microsoft down and/or run them into the ground.

Ehh, no. I don't download ME2 DLCs from Microsoft servers. PC version is hosted on EA servers.

One week ago, the first DLC for Modern Warfare 2--the Stimulus Package--launched for the Xbox 360 with a less-than-stellar start, as the launch-day DLC adopters found themselves unable to play during the content's initial hours. In the days following the misfire, Microsoft, the company at fault for the snafu due to a mistimed title update, has provided two offers related to the product.

Microsoft handles the servers for XBox 360 DLC.

Electronic Arts handles the servers for PC DLC.

I doubt the size is the issue. HD movies are 7GB+ & some demos are over 1GB...

Server problems are usually resolved within 24 hours so it's still an "any minute now" kind of matter.

I'm so sad... There are signs of it everywhere from anywhere, but not from where it counts... BioWare... sadness.

Ladies and gents, here is your answer.

And they can't spend one minute to log on to the fourms and let us know ?

Typical BioWare behavior.
