I don't think $7 is too bad. I think $10 would have been pushing it but $5 would have been best so $7 is reasonable if you ask me. The $2 for the 3 costumes, however, is another story...

It's been said, but Jack's new outfit looks great. Unfortunately, the glasses are just too much. After spending so much time designing and animating a character's eyes, why obscure them?

So getting two dollars worth of junk will cost $25 for the 1600 pts. card.

monkeycamoran wrote...
You pay $25 for 1600 points? 800 points is $10. Are we talking about the same currency, here?

GraciousCat wrote...
There would be taxes on buying the card:whistle:

NICKjnp wrote...
Again... what currency are you talking about.  Here in California, the most taxed state in the USA, there is no tax on the card because tax is already included in MS points.

cerberus1701 wrote...
No tax for it here in Wisconsin, either.

O.K. people, Let's not get all crazy.  It is not so much the tax as it is to where you purchase the card.  I don't believe there is a single store that will sell a $20 item for $20 and not make a profit of their own.  They mark up the price before the sales tax and there you have it, now everyone has a hand or two on your walet.

$7 for potentially 90 minutes of gameplay? which ends up being 45 minutes if it's like Zaeed's mission that was supposedly the same length.

RIPOFF!!!!! No wonder Bioware wants to put out lots of DLC. I'll still buy it but considering that the game itself cost us essentially $2 per hour of gameplay.... this DLC should be $3 at the very most.

This final character should have been included with the Cerberus subscription as that is $15 which I would think s a fair price for the final 2 characters + vehicle.

By my rough calculations, Kasumi DLC costs slightly more than the Lost in Nightmare DLC for RE5 on Playstation. That was a bit of a short one too, but very enjoyable. have to wait and see how kasumi measures up.

Two new screenshots of Kasumi! Even though it's just a couple of 'em, I'd have to say it does give a better impression. I think I can honestly say that this new character DLC will be fun to play.

Zaeed was a miserable git, it'd be nice to chase after a master thief who at least has some kind of positivity about her.

Not to mention an even better arse than Miranda. :P

I'm not particularly concerned about the pricing because I usually expect DLC material to be more expensive than the actual game itself. It's supposed to be optional content that entertains the audience and supports the company, without being absolutely essential to the plot itself (which in that case, it should have been added to the game). Compare this to individual sale vs whole sale. Anything you buy on its own will indefinitely cost more than a single item in a pack.

That much for tax?! Wowee...

The tax on buying an MS card is 7%.

13% in Ontario

Same here in Nova Scotia

Honestly it could have been more then 560MSP/BW Points. They could have charged $10 for it. I will be getting it though because I think Kasumi looks cool and it comes with a gun and achievement which is a bonus.

As for the costume packs well.....I will wait to see if they are ever bundled up for a decent price when all the characters get new clothes.

I'm hoping we get a feeling of James Bond grandeur during Kasumi's DLC and it doesn't just turn into a trigger happy firefight.

Really you're charging for clothes? 160 ms points for new skins for only 3 characters?!?!?! Now charging for new missions and possibly charging for the Hammerhead are perfectly reasonable. But clothes? Bit of a douche move, IMO.

Is it somehow possible to check how much Bioware points my account has? I received a coupon from my retailer because the activation failed for a few days after release. It promised some Bioware points, I entered the code as described but I can't find any hint as to where they are noted and how to use them :-( Please help!

IGN just confirmed it will be 560 MS points or $7.

Okay wow they already gave the price, it's even on the website now, wonder if my post had anything to do with it probably not.
But here's the deal: I can either go for just kasumi wich will cost me 560 BW points for 4.88 (i'm dutch so i'm talking in euro's here) i've already decided i'm going to get her sort of...

And AAP is suposed to be 160 BW points wich translates to 1.394 euro's (wich isn't all that bad actually)

Now 560+160=720 BW points in total so i'll have to get the 800 BW points for 6.97 euro's

So if I want to just get kasumi I'll have to pay 4.88 euro's (wich isn't too shabby for a char and some missions) and if i also want the AAP I'll have to pay 6.97, wich makes fixing a hole in Garus' suit wich should already have been fixed costing me 2.09 euro's (wich is almost half kasumi)

hover over profile click add bioware point confirm password and it'll say how much you can buy for how much by what means and what your current balance is

Well a price might have been given but the release date has been changed to "early April". I can feel another RtO coming...

The pricing seems off IMHO. As many people had said, if it was a fully fleshed character then I would have paid more, but for 1.5 hours I can get more bang for my buck with other games :/

I am sorry, but to pay for some clothing is just plain stupid. The problem is because people is going to buy, Bioware -sorry, EA- is going to keep with the same strategy.

$7 for the next package. WOW! I guess prior promises were just plain lies.

Oh! this is my first post and I just want to say that the game is the best I have played in this decade. Congratulations.

So many profoundly ungrateful people here.

Perhaps the gaming industry should go back to the days where the game began and ended with the box it came in for a while.

That might vent some of the gagging sense of entitlement around here.

People download gamerpics and avatar items they have to pay for, but somehow paying for in-game character outfits is a ripoff? Okay. Also, Bioware is like, totally holding a gun to all our heads and making us buy this stuff, right.
