With all the positive reactions about Kasumi, I'm starting to believe Bioware forgot her VA to do one specific line:

Kasumi: ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL

Or maybe better (and probably already made up by someone):

Kasumi: KASUMING DIRECT CONTROL

Kasumi: Assuming Direct Control...
and then:

The Harbinger: KASUMING DIRECT CONTROL...

: )

Ok, after the Kasumi dlc...

1. great addition to the Squad. Serously, she is in my squad all the time.

2. It was a welcome relief from the run of the mill missions... (Though my femShep in that dress... MAN SHOULDERS lol)

3. Very interesting combat actions. I like how mobile she is in combat.

4. I do not know if this has already been specualted and shot down like me asking for a girls phone number, but does anyone else think that the "Secret" that she retrieved from Kenji's Gray Box is going to be the basis for a future DLC/Full Fledged expansion?

5. Honestly, this is going to sound stranger than usual, but I like her room. Hell, I wish I had a bar in my room. It would save me the trouble of going to the bars in town.

6. My only real complain is that I wish she had actual dialogue wheel dialogue. But other than that... spot on I loved it!

i wanted to hump her.

also, nice mission. bit silly how you had a gunfight just outside the window where everyone was eating vol-au-vents and drinking champagne though. like the new smg a lot, "the gun that killed two presidents", cool.

I have the pc version of Mass Effect 2. My question is if this paid dlc require cerberus network?

It may be very obvious for many of you but I am a bit confused because I read somewhere that xbox360 players needed it. At the same time I read that it doesn´t matter.

It is not a big thing for me since I am a member of the cerburus network, just curious.

She was sexy, and my Shep is way cooler/more succesful/famous/better looking than that Keiji ****. But I guess some things just aren't meant to be...

Cerberus Network works apart of some DLCs, so i don't think you'll need that one for Kasumi to work.

I'm wondering the same thing too, however there are a few other storylines e.g. The Shadow Broker that would also be a good expansion... So I won't say it shotdown yet.

I don't believe it requires you to have Cerberus, no.

If you look at its name i'm sure you'll see its called alternate appearance pack 1! Kinda says that there will be more, however the new appearances are lame.  Garrus' new look is ok, but I hate that neon look, ill use it as its the only non damaged armor option for him (my favorite wingman no doubt) but there should have been an intact armor option in the retail game...its just common sense with all the aquisition you spend half of the game gathering, youd think that the materials gathered would go to armor repair for key squad members!
Glasses are the lamest!
Most of the DLC released would have been more appropriate for inclusion within the retail game, Firewalker was a massive disappointment given that this is a Bioware release, short and very limited in scope considering its the only way of using the much vaunted Hammerhead.
However BACK ON TOPIC! The Kasumi DL is sensational and beautifully designed, very very atmospheric and she is truely an excellent caracature, the whole mission stands out in the game and may well be one of its best when viewed cohesively.[/i]

Yeah, I'd have liked a toggle for the glasses. Jack's outfit would be perfect without them.

if they can't toggle helmets what makes you think they can toggle sunglasses

:P

that said, this is the reason why i'm not buying the alt appearance pack anyway.

Because I don't see how the "It's all one piece"  argument that they use for the armor could possibly apply here. :)

Anyways on topic am i like the only person that wanted to keep that guys house? I built my hopes up cause Mass effect 1 had a house you could win... ._.;
Ahwell, the DLC was beautiful in just about everyway.

2) I beat the game with her in my party, and when the floor is falling out from under the party she was the one sliding off, however her model was invisible, so it looked like Shepard was taking a nose dive for no reason.

Disappearing people is fairly common, has nothing to do with Kasumi, and I don't know what causes it. Last night on Grunt's mission Uvenk got slapped by the air and a couple weeks ago while doing Miranda's loyalty mission Shep disappeared from the Renegade scene so the Eclipse merc's neck just spontaneously snapped.

I think Shep had a house after his success in ME1 but he died, and house was taken by the appropriate officials...
Still shep was in millitary, so his house (before achieving the Spectre status) may just have been - the barracks.

Im on about the one you can win from the DLC (mass effect 1). The station dlc one can't remember the name. But on the last mission of it you can make a bet to do it as hard as it possibly can and if you win Shep gets his own house that he can visit.
I didn't expect mass effect 2 to have another house but when i was walking around that place in my lush formal wear, i could totally see myself kicking my feet up, inviting a few asari over and totally chillaxing.

The loyalty mission was fun, the story was great.

Kasumi is interesting to the extreme.

I am very let down she is not romanceable.

Still, in some ways she reminds me of my gf, secretive, intelligent, sexy, exuberant and playful.

My gf being asian also doesn't hurt at all. hehe

She flirts with both male and female, but you can tell her heart still belongs to Keiji. A romance wouldn't work. So many people are dissapointed by it, i swear im the only person that gets why they wouldn't even think of adding it in. Shes so in love with him, she basically lives in his memories, if you go back to talk to her a few times, she tells you how shes been in his memories again and can't let go.

Yup. Besides, not every person has to be romanceable. Kasumi as she is is great - and her flirtiness is nice, because she's only doing it because flirting *is* fun. It doesn't have to lead anywhere - and that's very her: Living in the day and embracing the now and just having fun, but not committing herself - because the only thing that could really make her settle down or commit (Keiji) is gone.

Exactly, plus the way she talks to you about things when you go into her area of the ship, i couldn't see her as a romance option, she seems way more of a sister figure than someone to date. (Unless you're into that sort of thing.) But honestly, i haven't seen many people complain about Zaeed not being romanceable probably because of his scaring. The world's so shallow. And as someone said to me before, it's nice to have a girl on the ship thats a friend and not trying to get under your bedsheets.
