Okay, i use my Bioware points to buy the Alternate Outfits Pack, got redirected to another site with info after and now i cannot see the pack in my download list...did i miss something?

A question,

I have polish version ( my native) of ME2.

I don't mind english or polish, but I support EA Poland and I think they do a grat job.



BUT...

I bought Apearence Pack. Installed. And... Garrus, Thane and Jack make their comments in battle in english. This is annoying. As I said I don't mind polish or english, but both are really not good, especialy when eg Miranda speaks polish and Garuus english the same time...

Is anyone has the same problem? Can it be solved somehow?

As a PC user, I'll pass on the new alternative costumes but Kasumi looks like an interesting character.
If her backstory is at least as good as Zaeed's was (and he's a crack up of an NPC: his voice actor strikes the bastard merc' attitude exactly and is a legend for it), then I'd pay for it having already gotten a great free sample with Zaeed.

Bring on April 3rd!

jak11164 - You have to edit sku.ini in Mass Effect 2\\data\\ folder

Inside you will find "VOLanguage =" and "TextLanguage =" - you can change their values, typing shortcut of language you want (INT - english, FRA - french, POL - Polish, you can see all these parts in every DLC folder you have)

I like what I saw in the preview. The fact that Donovan Hock is also involved in weapons and smuggling may (hopefully) mean that this mission may involve the Shadow Broker and/or the missing pieces of Sovereign in some capacity. It looks like Eclipse are there, their commandos and engineers always put up a good fight.

If the party is a who's who of prominent crime figures, then it would be a nice touch of continuity to give a cameo to a familiar criminal, such as Kylan (batarian thug from the Afterlife entrance), Elias Kelham, or Thrax's krogan.

Confirmed. I got the same problem when I put on new costumes. In old costumes everything is fine. Better to inform EA about this.

rinoe - Maybe you should just change the dubbing language to english? Polish one sucks, sounds like it was recorded by mp3 player...

Oh whatever. With all the stuff they've given us for free, it seems like you're the one trying to milk more free content from THEM. If you don't want to spend money equal to a pack of gum for downloadable costumes, then don't.

Polish dubbing is quite OK. Or maybe I just used to it, whatever. I always played games with english dubb, but now I think I should support native language, so I started again ME1 in polish, and polish female shep is much better.

Garrus in ME2 sounds better in polish. Shep have weak siedes, like talking with Kelly but acceptable.

I think they do a lot of good job with polish dubb. Bow to EA Poland.

We deserve to have our native version and I will support it





In my persoanal opinion, the famous actors as the voices of games is a lame idea. I can idantify a lot of them, and I see faces with the voices. It is no good., when you want to indetify youself with Shapard, or get into friendship with some companion. with a voice with actor you know...

ME 1 had good dubbing, but playing ME 2 in English gives even better feeling of story - Eng voices are more adult, and it feels like characters have changed and grew up for these two years.

As others have said, you have to pay for both Kasumi and the appearance pack.

Appearace pack is only $2 and since the lowest denomination for points is $5, I'm actually considering just waiting till Kasumi gets released...so if shes only $5, then i can buy the 8$ pack...or whatever.

I don't like shooter games, I want more MASS EFFECT, more story... We'll see Kasumi. It must be someone who can talk after all

OMG! I've got a problem. Now whenever I start up ME2, at the main menu screen it says "Unable to authorize the DLC... Alternate appearance pack 1".. what gives?? I didn't have this problem at all until just now. Yes I paid for the DLC and installed it and everything was working properly yesterday. There is no way for me to check if I have the alternate costumes because i started a new career and deleted my old saves.. please help!

You must have the net connection when you start playing first time after instalation. And you must be logged to the Cerberus Network. Then you can play later without being logged.

Everything was connected fine, and I'm still able to log onto Cerberus. Again, everything was working fine yesterday. And because I hadn't deleted my old saves I was able to check out the new costumes. But I deleted my old saves and a few minutes ago, I logged into Cerberus and am now getting the error message...

Judging by the current issue with the Alternate Appearance Pack I get the feeling playing ME2 off line won't be possible once you got paid DLC installed.

No, it is not. I installed and authorized online, but without problems I'm playing offline.
