I'll just post a quick addendum, my 30 - 45 minute estimate might, in hindsight, be a bit too harsh. I think it might be closer to a 30 - 60 minute addition. I think most of that comes down to how quickly you can dispatch foes in the fighting segments of the game. After completing the game on insanity I've just gotten really good at the combat system which is one of the reasons I managed to fly through those parts of the mission.

Also, just to be fair, you said "some other titles" (multiple) that averaged $20 per hour. MW2 is $60 / 8 (not counting MP if the player is into that, which they likely are, because it's MW2) = $7.5/hour. Pretty close to the debated figure here, except I'm still digging through my brain trying to think of any games that averaged ~$20 per hour of gameplay.

Don't bother, I exaggerated.
Comes with changing shifts to nights from working days. Facts get fuzzy...right along with my recollection. :-D

Well I'd have no problem with paying for more missions or anything that adds to the story. Maybe open up the Citadel, Omega or Illium and add another level or ward with some mission. A mission on Earth could be fun too.

I think Bioware has been very smart about it's DLC. They encourage people to buy the game from legit resellers to get free DLC and then by releasing pay to play DLC later it helps them as a company maintain their cash flow. With money coming in they can better focus on creating quality products. If they released a $19.99 mission pack I'd buy it, help tide me over for the next year until ME3.

I Agree if Bioware would say 'hey get the game from a legit company and we will offer you extra hours by paying for DLC' (by that i mean a real DLC like for a few hours worth) i would totaly go for that. 20$ is a good price for somthing like that and you can pay them stright away without going through suppliers. but i paid the extra dollars for a pre-ordered collectors addition and the only thing i got was a collectors armor which by far is not worth the extra money i put in (i agree the package looks great but come on that is not what i'm looking for).

so again i think that the resonable thing to do is at least give the collectors addition the DLC for free

I've been waiting for this DLC so i can finish the game with all the characters (yes i haven't finished the game yet) i also went through all the planets and depleted them all (just for fun) so i was pretty pissed off when i finally found out that the DLC was not free.

i hope they don't do this on ME3 (going to get the collectors edition of that too )

Now, how about some mission packs? The basic idea behind the firewalker missions, a sidequest involving a mad scientist chasing a prothean artifact, wasn't bad but the execution was lacking. Make a more elaborate sidequest spanning several missions, prefrerrably partially utilising the Hammerhead, and i'll buy that too

ok dunno about the ME2 dlcs, BUT i for one really enjoyed the DA:O DLC's all of em, mostly the stone prisoner one but RTO was good as well. rembember people its a DLC, not an expansion!

I enjoyed it, very interesting story. The vault with all the statues and Kasumi's comments was fantastic specially the ogre from dao.

We also get a nice outfit and a fine smg, totally worth it for me.
