Put Paul Grayson into a DLC or ME3.

Likely ME3, but you never know :D

Probally ME3 although he's going to be an enemy. Sanders would be a great addition to the Normandy Crew as would Hendle or Gill. Thinking about it that could be a good tie in with Tali, as she might know Hendle & Gill from being in the fleet at the time of the Cerberus Incident.

I really hope not. He's a great character, one who I think would make a great, if conflicted member of the team (Especially of TIM's implanting him with reaper tech).

Everyone fretting about Jack's Bono glasses. Ugh. At least her attire is cool looking.

As for Shepard getting another casual outfit, that's fine and dandy but I'm just thankful my Engineer will be getting a new SMG to kick **** with.

I would love him for a squad member if for no other reason than in the final battle he can somehow upload with the reaper tech to input whatever plot hook they come up to destroy the reapers.

Shepard: Greyson! Are you crazy? Uploading yourself into the Reaper network will kill you.

Grayson: I know...But it doesnt look like we have any other options there Shepard...plus maybe atleast doing this I can atone for everything else I've done wrong. Tell my daughter Gillian that I love her.

Why won't this be free with the damn Cerberus network? I bought that for 1200 ms points and thought I would have DLC drop in my lap. WTF is this BioWare? Is Electarded Arents putting you up to this? It seems like the type of bull**** they would pull. Nod if yes since we all know your in a hostage position ATM.

EA , "If we suck ass and can't beat em, buy em! Muahahahaha! We are so badass!"

I spent the points and tried to get the new outfits, but they never showed up in my game... What happened... where did they go? Where do I look for them? I still only have the original two outfits for the mentioned characters with no hint of where or how to use the ones I paid for. I have the Steam version of the game, but I doubt that should make any difference. Tell me where they went or how I can get my points back please.

So, Firewalker is free, but alternate looks 2$? I'll pass on this...

I wonder if Kasumi will be given away for free or not?

She won't; this was already stated.  She'll cost about 560 points from what's been said.

So far you've gotten Zaeed, the Firewalker, the Normandy Mission, Armor, and Weapons for free.

Stop your ****ing.

Ok you just convinced me with that idea of a conversation. Maybe the three i mention could be cameoed in. Sander would make a great replacement on Udina.

Wow. I just read 20 pages of pointless reposts , whining , and questions that have been answered previously ON THE SAME PAGE.

I tried to understand the argument about Bioware charging too much(or anything) for the Appearance Package, I really did. But I just could not find a relevant point at all. On one hand they say it is useless, not necessary , ugly, too expensive. But on the other hand they fail to see that the FREE downloadable ,playable mission with a vehicle was just GIVEN to us. If this Package is such crap or "horse Armor" , which is repeatedly used, why complain that they are charging for it? Would you prefer to burn time downloading it , wasting space and you never use it but get charged for DLC missions like this one with the tank? I would rather receive free playable missions and given the option to download little extras like appearance mods.

I came on to this thread to see what people actually felt after playing the mission. All I got was baby gamers.

Check again. I don't know what is the problem, as I never come across it since they show up (only after completing a squadmate's loyality mission).

If he's still alive. TIM has a pretty sizeable grudge against him, and there are a lot of elite mercenaries on the Cerberus rolodex. Add in his addiction to red sand, and his lease on life is a day at a time.

That could make for an interesting conflict, though:

ZAEED: The Illusive Man wants him dead. If I don't do it, someone else will.
SHEPARD: This man is under my protection, Zaeed, he's staying with us.
ZAEED: Because of you Vido got away. I still haven't been able to track him down. You're not getting in my way a second time.

As I haven't read the novels (yet) I don't know who this "Paul" guy I presume to be from the novels is.

You can assume that this is the same for most people.

Therefore, you have to ask yourself "Can you put this guy into ME3, giving him sufficient characterisation and backstory, without relying on knowledge of the events of the book?"

I don't know the answer to that, as I don't know the character.

But if it's a "yes", and the character can be properly integrated without needing to have read the book, then I'd be fine with it.

Of the alternate looks, I like the one for Garrus the best. Nice to see him with some undamaged armor for a change.

Jack......eh. Could've done without the glasses. Like the jacket though.

Same for Thane.

My thoughts exactly.

I honestly don't care whether it's priced or not, and I don't say that because I roll in money and can get Microsoft Pts. on command. I'm not rich, and don't get points often,

But still, the paid/free DLC relevance argument can be put simply: If you want it, get it. If not, please don't get it and do NOT complain about it. Cerberus Network is simply there as an incentive, putting out free content to convince gamers to get a new copy, or buy it seperately. If there was no Cerbeus Network, the Alt. Appearance Pack and Kasumi DLC price would be no problem.

In short, Cerberus Network's DLC is in no way related to the general DLC. The free content on the Network doesn't justify the pricing of the other DLC.

Oh, and Spider Villainy, you wanted to see what people felt after playing what mission, exactly? Firewalker? if so, I liked. Good gameplay, diverse missions, and a new relic in your cabin when you complete it! A fun bunch of missions.

I broke down and got the appearance pack but Thane with his new cloths just like Jack, with the glasses look like crap. No ears on Thane so they especially look cheesy. With Jack they at least look like she had them affixed to her face with implants or something. His cloths is just another re-skin.

I just saw Thane with his request for a loyalty mission and my god it sucks now with his glasses on when he does his memory flashback thing. Part of what makes those scenes with Thane and even with Jack to some lesser extent is seeing their eyes.

If you want to spend your money on this set then go for it, but it is not worth paying for just to get one good full set of alternate cloths. The glasses alone really make this set not worth getting. However, if there was an option to remove the glasses then I would say differently but sadly that’s not an option. Then at least you had Garrus and Jack with a new good clothing set.

So my final verdict:
-Garrus: looks great in the new armor and his interesting looking headset mic thing.
-Jack: Love her new cloths but the glasses really suck.
-Thane: Not impressed at all with his re-skin color cloths or his glasses.

Who came up with these stupid glasses idea anyway?

The Abridged Mass Effect 2, a must read. In the Spoilers Forum. http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/105/index/1777005

Just to clarify, nothing is FREE, we've paid for the game with the understanding that if we bought it new we'd be getting the DLC with the game. DLC that adds significantly to the game (as in hours) I guess I don't mind paying for, but stuff like outfits and repetitive and boring missions not so much.

free DLC is there to entice new buyers. Nothing more.

It's only an added benefit that people who have already bought the game get access to it.
