I would pay for Horse armour for my squad. For 3 smelly outfits that do nothing for the game. Nah.
Its not like the outfits are amazingly uber looking.

Im still undecided about Kasumi at the mo. Howerver if they threw the outfits in with it Id bite.

You guys obviously haven't been reading the polls if you think Subject Zero is a favourite squad member.

Wow I cant believe just how immature and whiny some of you people can be. Crying about outfits costing 160ms points ($2) really. Its optional dlc you don't like it don't buy it. Pretty simple. You guys should should give BioWare some props for putting out so much dlc compared to ME1.

The point of "whining" , is that Bioware need to be told that it's a bloody rip off, otherwise it'll just happen again with the next DLC, maybe even uping the price as it would look as if nobody's all that arsed about it.

I'll definitely purchase Kasumi day one and I'll hold out for a Tali costume or a collective costume bundle if that comes at a reduced price.

Well, Jack's outfit looks great but the glasses on her and Thane are silly looking.

Also glad Garrus finally gets a fixed set of armor. The thing on the right side of his head, which I'm guessing is a mic, looks more like a tube for a beer hat or something.

Okay, so it is just those three?

Thanks, but no thanks. Especially since it doesn't look to me like there are any realistic looks. (I'm gonna keep hammering at this, by the way, until everyone without a hardsuit can at least get Conrad's.)

And seriously, EA -- yes, I know it's you behind this -- I know you're into the microtransaction bottom line but, outfits for a quarter of the cast only being two dollars... somehow that just doesn't sound like a good rate. I mean it'd basically come out to a dollar more than Kasumi for all 12.

People these are optional appearances for 3 characters. People should be glad that they charge for this as opposed to features that add to the game. If your your willingness to pay for these appearances is above the cost then DONT buy it. That is how markets work. This way people who like these outfits can buy them and people who dont want them dont have to, but dont miss out on real gameplay additions such as the new shotgun or Zaeed, which made shotguns realatively useful for squadmates and the players. This way Bioware can supply DLC additions to the game and gain revenue. In the end the people who do buy it gain welfare b/c they bought the dlc for less than it was worth for them while the company sells it at a price where they make a profit. In the end both the company and the consumers benefit even if some people complain because they would rather get stuff for free.

So stop blaming evil capitalism and the the evil corporations for trying to get more money out of you because in the end your benefitting from it as well. And oh no worst case Bioware and EA make money so they can provide better services in the future for you.

I am very impressed with Bioware and the amount of content they are exhaling for Mass Effect 2, especially in comparison to the first game. I mean seriously? New characters, new weapons, new missions and even an accessory promotions exclusive with Dr Pepper. If Kasumi's personality proves to be half as impressive as the rest of the crew consider me more than satisfied. They already nailed her looks perfectly, anyone else getting a hot chick sithlord vibe here?

You believe that bull? We aren't talking about some indie developer that is coding out of their basement, Bioware and EA have been in the business for a while now and should know how to provide quality.
Buying what they are trying to pass off as quality DLC will only ensure future DLC is similarly overpriced and vapid.

Sorry, mate. Only Firewalker DLC is free for CN "operatives". For new skins you'll have to pay. Unfortunately...

I guess I´ll get the appearance pack, I think I have a few leftover Bioware points. It´s at least nice that they finally fixed Garrus´es armor

I don't understand why so many of you are crying about this.. If you don't like the appearance pack then don't buy it and register your opinion with your pocket book.. Thats what most developers look at.. Even if everyone here all agreed that these were horrible if they sold a million of them it wouldn't matter... Hypothetical example of course..

Personally I don't think $2 is that bad of a deal.. Heck its cheaper than buying one of the Mass Effect comics.. Seriously I don't understand all the malicious hate over the appearance pack..

It's good to see the game's getting better support than the first one did, but I seriously hope the pricing doesn't follow this trend. 160 points for 3 skins is extremely overpriced.

1st. It isn't necessary to have this. 2nd. When do you expect them to start putting prices on the DLC? Next year? We've had more than enough free DLC as it is. Bioware should start getting some cash for their work. 160 ms points is nothing. I've got more than that on my account, its just a little change from some other purchases i have. If anything it won't cost me a thing because nothing worthwhile is on the marketplace around that price.

You don't have to have the costumes. Its something extra for the fans. So stop your complaining, it won't get you anywhere. The price is set. You can decide whether or not you want 3 new costumes, or if you don't.

I'd understand if these were simple material replacements, but as you can see Garrus and Jack have totally different outfits, including the glasses. Thane looks like a material swap with shades added. But its well worth the money.

That said, good job Bioware. Keep the DLC rollin' out. ;)

I don't plan on buying it, 3 extra skins don't interest me. And where did I say the DLC should all be free?
Expecting everything free is unreasonable, expecting things to be priced fairly is perfectly reasonable.

I'm looking forward to extra missions, and I'm worried because I think they may end up being overpriced. I have every right to complain.

No, actually you don't have any right to complain. You do not set the prices, Bioware does. If you can't pay 160 MS points for an optional set of costumes, then thats your problem, not Bioware's. When these new costumes were leaked about a week ago, i expected to pay at least 400 MS points for it. I was shocked when i saw it was significantly less than i expected. Its not overpriced at all. If anything, its underpriced. Stop crying about the prices of the DLC they are offering and just play the game. Your whining won't get you anywhere, it won't get the prices lowered from their already low enough state. People like you are unappreciative of the work this company has put forward to put out a constant stream of DLC content. Before, people were complaining that there weren't any DLC's. Now your complaining that the price isn't right. When will it stop? How much did you expect to pay for these costumes anyway? OR did you expect them to be free?
