I thought GMT stood for Greenwich Mean Time, referring to the city in England where time is measured from...whereas the American timezones were PST, MST, CST, EST standing for Pacific, mountain, central, eastern, standard time.



Since I am an American myself (on PST), I fully intend to assert my belief, insist I am correct, accept no further argument, then expect the rest of the forum to fall in line with my point of view.

That is one of my pet peeves. I hate it when people ask me "What time is it in Canada?" 

Canada is the second largest country in the world behind Russia. Of course we have more then one time zone so I just list every time there is in Canada in each time zone since I get annoyed by that.

Actually, you're all idiots, GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time, don't ask me what that means, I just googled it.

It s a village in England that is the begging and end of the worls time zones on one side is hour 1  on the other is hour 24  so going west the times go up until you complete the 24 hour cycle.
