Trailer. Looks awesome. Really like how they have Shepherd kicking ass James Bond style in a citadel suit. The new SMG seems interesting. And also, is it me, or does she seem like a human version of Tali if she was an infiltrator?

OK the lack of Cerberus insignia on that suit is just wrong. 100,000,000% wrong. I seriously hope they patch that before the April 6 release.

Hey everyone remember when video games did not have DLC??.........I am excited because on all older systems we did not have DLC to keep our games feeling somewhat new and fresh, so appreciate at least a little bit that we get any type of DLC. Now pricing issues is something of a different story I think for those costumes they should be free but since there not I am probably still going to get it because of the fixed Garrus armor.

You mean the time when they thought if they wanted to extend the game, you can buy an expansion pack?

I'm rather mystified why a clothing pack would run for two dollars when the Hammerhead and it's accompanying missions are free through Cerberus Network. They're little more than simple reskins and one of them seems to be just glasses (which in Thane's case kind of ruins his flashbacks). Maybe bioware is holding out on us and this includes the ever elusive helmet toggle so Shepard doesn't have to try and suck his drinks through his helmets faceplate.

Of course with proper mod tools we would have likely seen a forest of reskins for every goober in the game by now but bioware is deadset on never releasing anything like that.

That releases March 23? No that doesn't sound right. I just think everyone needs to stop complaining and be happy with all we've got for free so far and be happy that we're still getting stuff even though now we have to start paying. The price really isn't bad at all.....those 3 awesome outfits are well worth the $2 we're asked to pay many times over.

Really glad to see they fixed Garrus' armor. Curious as to what the thing is on the side of his face. Looks like it's attached to that disc on his bandage; is it a mic or something for his scars? $2 is a fair price to me. Hopefully Kasumi's DLC will be a reasonable price as well. ^^

Ok, I'm gonna guess you know absolutely nothing about this quest.

The mission puts Shepard deep undercover as a guest at the party of a
rich smuggler, all dressed up in a formal suit infiltrating the occasion
James Bond style.

And here is the source of that quote: http://news.vgchartz...ews.php?id=7420

So...that's why there's no logo of any kind on his outfit.  Defeats the whole point of being undercover.

Ahh yes, 'free DLC'...

Kasumi's DLC actually looks significantly more interesting than Zaeed's, no problem paying for that. I also have no problem paying for the new outfits - Garrus alone makes it worthwhile.

I'd say this is the whiniest crap I've seen in awhile, but I recently spent time reading people crapping their pants because pandora.com is going to charge them $0.99 for a month of listening to music if they listen to more than 40hours in a single month. $1 a month for unlimited listening and they are whining like puppies. This thread comes in a close second.

It's not required .. it's not needed ... it doesn't add a single thing to the game besides aesthetics. If you want to show them you disapprove of their pricing or the nature of the DLC, then don't buy it. Simple enough. No company pays attention to what you say in a forum thread. The only thing they care about is their balance sheet.

The only valid thing I've seen, complaint wise, is the annoying habit that BW has displayed time and again with ME2 of covering the faces/eyes in a game that's based on dialogue and character interaction without the option of removing helmets and now, possibly, eyeware.

Nice DLC, those glasses for Thane really look funny. But nice to see the armor fix for Garrus.

There have been more valid things stated other than covering their eyes in a game that is heavily dialogue based.

It is just your perspective that will not admit it.

Even with all the valid statements provided none of them matter until the DLC is actual available, then EA will see the only statement it cares about; the sales.

I am not ignorant to the fact it is just about money. I am just spouting what I want to say because thinking about this situation gives me a lot of four letter words, typing helps alleviate that.

Yes I do need to submit what I type for it to count.

Yes, they did. Small bits of content were offered as free downloads, while much larger chunks were sold as full-blown expansion packs.

And seriously, why do we have to pay for the costumes? I could see paying for Kasumi being almost defensible, but this is just plain ridiculous (especially since there'll be an inevitable 3 more at least)...

I think you're missing his point. OLDER systems - like before the internet?

Never sure where Bioware read for their feedback so sorry if this is considered a double post.

---

Seriously though, regardless of what people think of value for money, there's a single piece of clear and concise feedback Bioware needs to understand. People DO NOT like characters eyes been hidden. Behind helmets or behind glasses or behind whatever. I remember in a making of somewhere the devs talking about how important it was to make realistic eyes and eye movement for their games to be emotionally engaging. That still holds true and any piece of additional content that helps to degrade that experience is going to be negatively received.

Hahaha. Pay for alternate appearance pack? It's even worse than the infamous Bethesda Horse armour.

On a serious note: I do realize the modellers had some work with it but come on. This should be a part
of another pack instead.

Is it just me, or did Bioware just do a spoiler (sort of, anyway)? Although everyone knows Garrus is in ME2, Bioware still refuses to show him as a character on the ME2 website under squad mates, instead they have the two "classified" slots. With the Alternate Appearance pack, Chris Priestly violated his own no-spoilers-posted-here rule!!! :)

I will buy the Kasumi DLC but not the Outfits one, i would like to see an Outfit Pack for Shepard instead, that would be interesting.
