im playing on 360 and all my talent points r spent in 2 handed weapons and when i start awakening i dont have starfang all i get is a stupid 1 handed sword and a shield so i have no attacks. does anyone know of a way to get starfang into awakening or how to reset my talent points cause this sucks

On the console, you can't. You can respec your character shortly into the campaign though when you meet the right merchants.

No. Starfang is dlc, so you won't be able to import it.

You won't be able to have Starfang transfer over unless you're playing the PC version and download the mod to do it. Otherwise you should have started with a different 2-handed weapon, I think it's called Warden's Reach or something like that.

Also shortly into the campaign you can find merchants that you can purchase a new 2-handed sword from.

Yeah same issue here, only it's on a PC. However if DLC content is not transferred to the Awakening, how come when I imported my Origins character I still had my Cailan's armor set but not startfang? Is there a way to find out which items are transferable to Awakening?

nope they gave me a 1 handed sword and a shield so i have no attacks they really need to fix that i spent money on the dlc so they should fix it so you can use it cause now its a wast of money and that S**T aint free lol

Take a look at the faq on the Dragon Age website. It says the dlc content from rto can be switched over, but that's it.

i dont understand why they dont have starfang. all the equipment from return to ostagar is there, and an NPC in awakening talks to you about how you recovered wardens keep (if you did it) so i just dont get why equipment from it is now gone

I was pretty upset about Starfang missing too, especially because I really liked the design. My boots were gone as well. But now I'm wielding Maric's sword and will equip some other boots as soon as I found them.



Why there is no DLC in DAO:A, however, surpasses my knowledge.

DLC from Rt:O and Shayles quest transferred in. And some player mods I had did too. You have to be careful though as the stuff from Honnleath caused a nasty bug for me in the silverite mines.

If you have Warden's Keep installed, Vigilance is an indenticle copy of Starfang. Install Warden's Keep, and you are set, lol.

this is dumb.. I imported my warrior who used the two handed starfang for the majority of DAO and guess what I ended up with in Awakening? A fking BOW... what the HELL.. I had to go around punching the darkspawn argh. This is seriously retarded of them.

And If i knew I was gunna be able to import all the items along with my char I wouldn't have let all the companions bugger off with some of the best items in the game.. like Alistair had cailins set... its gone now.. sigh.

What is the name of the PC mod that lets you get starfang back?

You only get the starter equipment if you import at 18 or lower.

For some people, it's not what is better, but what you like the most.

I've used Starfang/Maric's Blade and the Warden Commander armor all the way though Awakening. In fact, in all the expansion the only equipment I've changed was one sword (Maric's Blade --> Vigilance, now I wield Vigilance/Starfang), one ring and the helmet (well, truth is that I've also upgraded Warden Commander Armor to Tier 9, but that's not technically a change. And if I hadn't discovered that I could upgrade it (by pure chance), I'd have kept it anyway, even at Tier 7 as it was).

hey guys I have a questiong for you, I have the material to make the star fang swords however I haven't downloaded the wardens keep DLC so did the creators just throw that in there to make people buy the DLC? or what? cause if not then wouldn't that mean that I have the DLC and just not realise it?
