So my gameplay runs smoothly and everything is good for the most part. The only problem I have is that during the cut scenes / "movie" type scenes, it will run smooth for the most part but sometimes it will stutter/lag and then freeze up for 10-30 seconds. Then it gets smooth again and everything is perfect. Suggestions?
If it matters: Intel Core Duo 2.53 ghz, NVIDIA 9600M GT 512MB, 4GB RAM, Vista Ultimate 64-bit

I notice very slight stuttering from time to time but 10-30 second freezes? I don't get that.

Yea like if a character is saying "The darkspawn are here" it will say "Th-The Darkspawn-Darkspawn are h-here" or something like that. And then when the character is done speaking, instead of moving on to the next "frame/sentence", it will freeze for awhile. Then it will move on and be smooth again, at least for awhile.

Yeah I'm having the same problem as futs, it will only unfreeze by me minimizing it and restoring it.....

I have exactly same problem. Sometimes, cutscenes start to lag, for about 10-15 sec. It had happened almost every cutscene I have yet seen. It's quite annoying.

i think i read somewhere that you have to disable phyx on your nvidia control panel see if that helps .. if not them i'm sorry

It's disabled, though I tried to play with the video settings, and it seems it lags less often. Plus, lags appear to be shorter.

Okay... glad to hear you have an awesome computer. Not sure, however, it's worth resurrecting a post that been dead for a year to shout about it. If you're having issues, post in a new thread with your "awesome" system specs, OS information, and game details.
