Sam Worthington would suit the role of Shepard. Still I would like to see more a miniseries of Mass Effect and not about Shepard but about someone other from the game or an invented character what brings up Mass Effect from another angle.

I agree with Titan7771 that Odette Yustman would make a good Ash and Tyrese Gibson looks like a good Jacob. He doesnt seem like those "gangster rapper" guys wich Jacob is not. My opinions on others would be. Yvonne Strahovski as Miranda, Liz Sroka possibly as Tali, Jillian Murray as Liara who was her model.Seth Green as Joker ofcourse ^^. And i find female Shepard more of a emotional role to Commander Shepard. Wich would have to be Sigourney Weaver( if she wasnt too old) So than its just somethingbut.......atleast default female Shepard reminds me so damn of Milla Jovovich

My two cents: Shepard is around 29 years old in the first game. I'd like to see an actor 27-32 yrs old play the part and not someone 45 who'll look waay too old by the time the third movie gets maid.



If it's a male Shepard, I don't care who plays him so long as they fall in that age category (wishful thinking, I know).



If it's a female Shep, I'd love to see either Rachel Nichols or Sienna Miller. Neither of which will happen though.

There seems to be a lot of people penciling Lawrence Fishburne in as Anderson, but there's really no reason to replace Keith David.



Him and Seth Green are the two VOs who should be in the movie.

There seems to be alot of people just throwing out random names because they are a) trolling ,   stupid, or   c)trying to find a silly reason to peg a favorite actor into a role with no solid reasonong.   Any and all aliens that require CGI  should be given back to their original game VAs.  There is no logical reason to not use them.  The only issue becomes the human cast where the VAs and characters dont match well.  That basically becomes the three main characters  of Shepard/Ashley/Kaidan and thats assuming the movie is actually based off of the first Mass Effect game and not its own stroyline.

I find it so damn funny that people want to cry foul on the whole canon thing with a ME movie, and then I see oher people turn around and want to cast Shepard based on his default apperance.  

How about we worry about getting a GOOD actor for the role of Shepard, since Shepard can look like ....well anyone
