Liara: Ali Hillis (She is the VO of Liara in ME1 & ME2 and I kinda think she look like her)
David Anderson: Keith David (Obvious choice, no one could replace Keith David and come close to making Anderson awesome imo)
Joker: Seth Green (Perfect, all Seth Green would have to do is get a little bit of Muscle,  a bit of a Chubby face, and a good beard)
Tali: Liz Sroka (Again Perfect Choice, VO would be in a suit... only problem is she might be a bit off on weight difference but its no biggie)
Garrus: Most likely CGI'd or Man in a Suit and VO by Brandon Keener
Wrex: Most likely CGI'd or Man in a Suit and VO by Steven Barr
Kaidan: Sam Worthington (Decent, j I forgot what exactly he sounds like but he looks the part well if he doesn't have a beard)
Ashley: Gemma Arterton (From a Pic I saw of Gemma she looks quite good for the Ashley role though I don't know if she sounds the part)
Saren: Most likely CGI'd or Man in a Suit and VO by Fred Tatasciore
Shepard: Mark Meer (Sure there is a lot of actors who could take the lead role but Meer is more likely since Default Shepard look sorta like him and Meer is his VO but the main problem for him is that Meer needs muscle to get this to work perfectly well if not then it is guaranteed he will not be in the movie)

Why does casting Jack matter yet since the movie is going to be based on ME1 ?   Lets get through the first movie before we start screaming about the second one.

I Like your choses for Ash, Kaiden, Wrex and Garrus.

But for me:

Shepard: Gerard Butler / Kate Beckinsale (she is too old for Liara, but I think would be an AWESOME fem Shep)
Liara: Katherine Heigl maybe.
Tali: Anyone who is at least 1,65m(voice by Liz Sroka) - Maybe Megan Fox (for her eyes, even thought she is unable to act). But always with the voice acting done by Liz.

I hope Lance Henriksen is still alive to play Hackett in both ME3 and the movie .

Also I found very funny that people keep thinking on Natalie Portman for Jack just because she shaved her head for one movie. And that Fox guy for Shep because he has a similar haircut.

Seriousl look at Morrina Baccarin, she is a much better physical match for Jack than Portman of Fox.

Matthew Fox was born to play Shepard, good actor capable of showing a wide range of emotions. Paragon Shepard is pretty much the same character as Jack Shepard on Lost.

Some of these posts are baffling. They're either completely weird suggestions or people just not thinking for a second that all the alien characters can be played by their voice actors, because they don't need to look human.



And even the humanoids can...as others have said, Seth Green, Keith David, Yvonne Strahovski and Martin Sheen in ME2.



Ashley, Kaidan, Shepard...those are trickier. Sarah Shahi was mentioned, and I love her...dye her hair black...Kaidan might be better served as a less known actor, he might not make it through the movie after all.



As for Shepard, Henry Cavill can definitely look like him. And I'm sure he's a good actor. But if he's too British...no way.

I don`t want Mass Effect movie. 2 main reasons:



1 - it will be probably average at best



2 - there`s a chance it will be succes but not in the way fans want to, u know there will be many great special effects, many people will go watch it, hype will start on ME universe but in the movie some things will be not like gamers remember it and love it



I give you example:

Lord of the Rings - outstanding book trilogy, deeeep and life-changing in some way and movies are just Hollywood super production, without that magic and what worse they are changing original LOTR universe, I fear it could be like that in ME and I don`t want to

The movie makes me nervous, I can't really put my finger on why. But it does. I know I'll end up seeing it simply because I love Mass Effect. But they had better keep Garrus' VO or I will be dissapointed right off the bat.
