I'm a little torn with what to think of them. It's either the Warden is just insanely epic, or the Grey Wardens of Orlais are just... not so epic. I mean, they got captured? All twelve of them? While the Warden storms the gates with just three party members and leaves unscathed? That's just mind-boggling.

Your thoughts?

Well, you arrive kind of late, with many of the darkspawn already dead from the assault. Likely the 12 were captured with traps that they didn't expect from darkspawn, or perhaps some were killed and the rest captured, or they were all sniped.

Well, the Warden has the bonus of Player Character awesome-ness. If you imported your old character, it makes sense that the Hero of Ferelden would be quite a bit better then your average Warden (not to mention better-equipped.)



But, mainly, the player-controlled character always has a bit of additional mojo working for him. (They are the ones who are going to save the world, after all!)

Hmm... True. You do arrive kind of late. Was it specified how long the darkspawn attack lasted? I can't quite remember.



And yes, the player mojo hurr. Then the Orlesian Wardens don't suck; the Warden's just fantastically awesome! 8D
