In my opinion, yes.
I mean, you really expect us to pay for skins?
Shouldn't they be a bonus to Cerberus Network members or part of the Firewalker DLC pack or Kasumi or whatever?
In fact, we got weapons that have actual use for being part of the Network. The skins shall be the same.
There is nothing wrong with it, I'm just wondering if anyone want to actually pay for Thane sunglasses.

I'm interested to hear the players' opinion. Will you pay for alternate skins?

I'd rather not, my teammates appearance isn't that important.

Two dollars for this? No, sorry, that is asking too much for just three characters. Now if this were all the characters, or at least the original ten, then I'd pay it.

In the end it would have made more sense to combine the Cerberus assault armor, Eviscerator shotgun, and Arc Projector into one pack and charge money for that.

Nah, something as trivial as that should be free. Not saying that texture work doesn't take time but when it holds no ingame bonus I'm not inclined to pay for it.

it should be free in my opinion. but if they release one with alternate appearances for both tali and legion, i would buy it.

as it stands though i do not intend to buy this one. i like garrus's armor as it is, i dont like thane's new outfit at all, and i never use jack, although her new outfit is cool.

It *should* be free, but EA doesn't make money by giving things away for free.

PC players can make and download their own unique skins. I don't see much point in paying for something that can be done for free.

I'd wait until Bioware/EA changes their mind.

They should've known that paying for horse armor was a bad idea that Bethesda learned four freakin' years ago.

No way I'm paying money to see Thane wear those hideous glasses. I want to punch the guy who thought that would be cool >.>

Doesn't Thane already have natural sunglasses? He's got two sets of eyelids. Seems a bit redundant to have him running around with twice the shades on.

... but it does make me want to listen to "I Wear My Sunglasses At Night".

It just reeks of...fan suggestion. This is really the last piece of DLC I'd ever imagine them releasing, especially to charge 2$ for 3 reskins... Even if they wanted to earn money by something silly like this, They shouldn't just package it all by itself, there's no incentive whatsoever to pay for it. I don't know, guess I'm approaching rant-quality on this, just a bit upset at seeing this

Forget Thane's glasses, WTF is up with that star trek crap on Jack?? I would only get this if it were free and ONLY because Garrus FINALLY has an alternate outfit without a hole in it. I mean really, how did Cerberus just happen to have spare Turian armor with the exact same hole in it. (don't respond to that I know all they did was recolor Garrus' regular armor).

2 bucks for THIS? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Seriously, who the hell is gonna pay money for three not even very good skins? The Jack outfit might be cool without those sunglasses (or whatever that's supposed to be), but come on! We got Zaeed for free, we'll get the Hammerhead for free and now we're supposed to pay for THREE LOUSY SKINS?!
This is even worse than RtO (which was also a joke, I expected much more content after all the waiting... and considering the money-content relation of the main game, even the around 2,50 RtO cost was too much!)...

Part of a larger pack.

This is bordering on horse armor.

I think the modders on the other forum have had a lot of trouble trying to modify the textures of squadmates - modifying Shepard is easy, though.

This may be the reason why.

As for $2.00... I'd get more use out of an ice cream sandwich. I'd wait until it eventually becomes free (I hope).

People sure love to whine on these forums, huh?

I spend about that most days putting songs on the jukebox in the student pub. I spend almost that on bottles of coke with lunch. I'm sat right next to a pile of change accumulated over the course of six months that probably adds up to that.

No one's making you buy it. This is one of those DLCs that one can see the entirety of without purchase. If you don't like what you see, you can put that money towards something you do like the look of. Hell, even if you do like what you see but don't feel it's worth the money, you can keep saving those precious few pennies. But don't judge people who don't mind missing out on a sneaky pint between lectures to pay for something that will last longer and won't make you pee. And don't **** about what a company that exists to make a profit 'owes' you. They don't owe you jack. They're a business, they like to make money and our society is built around protecting their rights to do just that.

Capitalism's a beautiful thing.

Personally, I will be getting this, because I think Thane's shades look sweet, and Jack's boots are badass. And, as I said, I have this big pile of change I'm not using anyway...

As I've said before, They really should have made us pay 10 bucks for the damn hover tank and gave us the two other DLCs free.

It would make a whole god damn more sense... I'd be willing to pay up to 15 bucks for the hover tank, but I don't think I'd pay the 7 bucks for Kasumi and the 2 for the skins. It's just... you know... Too much.

I, in my own Mass Effect's fan opinion, believe that this is a very bad decision by EA/Bioware to make it this way. You want to make us pay for your DLCs? Well, make us pay for the RIGHT DLCs!

All DLC's up up to Kasumi should be free, afterwards it's fine, I would pay for the Liara one and the future expansion, but not this.

According to the Downloadable content page:
"The Alternate Appearance Pack features new outfits for your favorite squad members, including Garrus, Thane, and Subject Zero." This leads me to believe that it is more than just those three outfits.

Although, the main page reads:
"Coming March 23rd, is the Alternate Appearance pack, featuring new outfits for Garrus, Subject Zero, and Thane." This implies that only those 3 outfits will be available.

Will I pay 2 bucks for 3 outfits? Probably not. Will I pay 2 bucks for 11 or 12 outfits? At ~17 cents an outfit, I could maybe justify that.

Let me put it this way. Without it, that game that's the whole focus of these forums probably wouldn't exist.

ah, the old "without Capitalism there's no art" argument... I don't think you want me to go into that one... just look at how long Capitalism is around and at how long art has been around... sorry, but your argument is pure bullcrap, nothing more.
