This is just a waste of money.

Really, it is now? Because $2.00 is just such a massive ammount of money. There are just so many things that you  can buy for $2.00. It's not like $2.00 can buy you little more than a small ammount of food or anything. <_<

I can buy -all sorts- of things for $2.00. I'm pretty sure that's like 4 gumballs.

Gumballs, which are food. Buying this DLC really just comes down to wether or not you're mildly hungry at the time, because buying a snack is about all you can do with that two dollars.

I might be mildly hungry later. I might need some batteries. Maybe a lightbulb. Possibly some nails.
I might even be thirsty and want 2 liters of soda. The possibilities are many, my friend.

Dude, it isn't about the money. If I didn't actually hate all this retarded DLC, I would have no problem blowing cash on it.

The point is, if I give them money - any money - for crap like this, it only encourages them to do it more. Which is bad.

If they can't even manage to add in a helmet toggle, don't plan on it.

Your cynicism makes me sad, but I cannot deny it's likelyhood.

This is EA. If we don't pay for this, then they're just going to make everything cost money anyways because the're not making profit. But if we do pay for this then there's a chance that they'll let Bioware keep making some of the DLC free while charging for some of it.

I can find two dollars in change walking across the parking lot. I spend about $6 a day on Sonic drinks. Yes, I will buy it because two dollars is a ridiculously trivial amount of money, and it helps that I already have more than enough BioWare points for all of the upcoming DLC. I'm not going to knock the other people complaining about two dollars, or the fact this content is totally optional--I'm sure they have their own...let's go with "reasons" for moaning about it--but really I could care less about two dollars. That's it.

Tell me about it.

There's only 2 developers I trust to do a decent job though. I'm not sure I want to take that to 0.

Because if I stop trusting Bioware, I'm going to have to take a long look at the release date for HL2E3.

I don't really care about the appearance change, but maybe paying for it will encourage them to make other, better DLC.

If they want people to buy DLC, they had better make damn sure that the DLC is worth being bought.

That is the only incentive that is needed.

If I pay for this DLC only to 'encourage' possible future DLC that may or may not be free, I would still be indirectly paying for those as well.

This kind of stuff is exactly what the Cerberus Network was made for: all the small, miscellaneous past and future DLCs made readily available in one simple place/purchase.

But instead they do this. It's maddening.

As many people have said before- Bioware's games are of such high quality, its virtually impossible for them to make DLC, Because as buyer's we are going to measure it against the main game. If the main game is a 9 and the DLC (from an outsider's perspective) is a 7.5 (passable, but not a must have) then the DLC response by fans is going to be a 3 or 4. (Not a comment on THIS DLC specifically, but Bioware's DLC in general.)

Wont buy this, nor will I buy Kasumi. May still buy Awakening though, because I require additional hours of Origin's. I may have finally found my cure to Mass Effect.

If it included a place I could get Shepard a new hair cut, I'd buy it.

...So you're not going to get the DLC because the fan reaction will be poor?
