Lothering Problem...

Alright I've finished everything in Lothering... except 1 thing.  I am unable to search the Blood Mage's body to get that side quest.  I've reloaded, I've loaded out of and into the area, and I've double check my quest log and inventory.  Is there something I need to do first before I can do this?  I see the body... I just can't search it.
