Calling me a child. Nice one. I used to use that line also, about 20 year ago...
But crying about the adds not having fem Shepard in them is quite stupid. Male Shepard is and has been the face of the series. Hell BW paid the model to BE the face of Mass Effect. And now you are crying about BW using the model the way they ment him to be used? Demanding fem Shepard, black Shepard, what-ever Shepard videos is just childish. BW could just use a black box, as I suggested, instead of Shepard so no one gets offended.
I call people children when they act like them. I simply ask for a little attention to the other Sheps, and you rant on and on about irrelevant things, that is what makes you a child.
But there -aren't- other Sheps. Bioware, for the purposes of Bioware, has a single canon Shepard. He's male, his face is that of Mark Vanderloo, and his password is Silence is Golden. When they advertise, that canon Shepard is the Shepard Bioware should be using.
If you create a mod for the game, I'd expect you to show it via your canon Shepard, not someone else's or what someone else's might be. Bioware should be held to the same standard. They put work into the Vanderloo Shepard, they clearly like it, so they have every legitimate reason to use it primarily.
If you think what she was ****ing about here is bad, you should see some of her posts on how more of the female characters should be romancable by Femsheps...I swear she's a sodding Femme N-a-z-i lol
That's hardly fair. Speaking as someone who often ends up in conflict with Femin*zis, I'll point out that the above example doesn't really indicate such given that there are about 20 "Fight for the Love" threads at any given time that argue for precisely the same thing.
Fair point on using ShepLoo as a default male Shepard; I agree that it avoids confusion and I'll even go so far as to say that if/when I upload any gameplay videos of a MaleShep, I'll use the default as it is neutral.
That established, they should still show more FemShep. In the myriad 'making of' videos and such on the site as well as the CE DVD, there are next-to-no clips of FemShep, despite Jennifer Hale showing up as a talking head in them. It's quite frustrating, given that anyone who's played the game with both genders knows well that FemShep is just as good if not better than MaleShep in a lot of ways - this is coming from someone who's only done one female playthrough out of a number of playthroughs of both games.
