I would rather have 15 minutes of kickass Hammerhead missions than infinite hours of humdrum Mako shenanigans.
Yes, because whizzing over barren terrain for 3 minutes while stopping occassionaly to hover over random "research nodes" is so very kickass...

It's less annoying than having to drive up mountains in featureless barren planets.JKoopman wrote...

It's sad that it wasn't in the game to begin like it was in ME1.
ME1 = less mission, less team member, but lot of thing that ME2 didn't have, and the mains mission in ME1were all fantastic.
ME2 "space station" is fantastic, one of the rescue mission is fantastic, the rest is "meh".

Devs have done a good job at hiding from this thread
-Probably because they will get mobbed by both sides of the issue. Just like if they popped in on the Alternate Appearance Pack.
-The loyalists: “Thank you for releasing this even if its only 10-15 minutes of playtime. Its so much better than that Mako crap from ME1. Its even free!”
-The skeptics: “This is it, one mission out of five that’s worth playing at all? Free or not its still not a quality level download. At least us Mako lovers knew how to read a map.”
-The loyalists: “But its free!”
-The skeptics: “Whatever.”
-The above continues for pages... lol.

They can get feedback quite well from releasing the DLC free, don't you think?Dethateer wrote...
That might have something to do with people too dense to comprehend that "it's free" isn't an argument. It being free doesn't automatically remove the need for feedback and quality control.

From what I see here on boards the feedback is pretty negative regarding the game in general.
The DLC feedback has been even worse

Skeptics: "A few 3 minute missions? This isn't what it was presented as before the release!"
Loyalists: "STFU, IT'S FREE!"
In other words: I wasn't talking about the devs.

It's NOT about FREE vs PAYING. It's about quality of content. 3 minutes of flying around a glowing 'node' markers is not quality. It's random mindless waste of time.

This. BioWare gave us such high hopes on the HH being a great DLC and why they're taking time to work on it but when you get missions that are 3 mins max, it's just a sorry excuse to call 'rich' or 'great' DLC. And for people saying saying we will get paid DLC for the HH, that's just stupid also. The fact you get something free, but in order to actually have fun with it, you must pay... LOL

And I cant wait to see the storm hit. I already have some paper towels ready to wipe the crap from my screen when it hits.petipas1414 wrote...
Either way the sh--storm will come full circle tomorrow
-I honestly am interested to hear what everyone thinks of it after they play it. Will it be as bad as it looks (in my opinion) or will there be some surprise and it will actually be worth playing more than once?

I'm sure there WILL be something cool about it though. For example, Zaeeds only upside was that his room had a trash compactor.

So even though the hammerhead missions out tomorrow look pretty poor, I'm hoping that it adds at least a little to the game as a whole...but here's hoping for more fleshed out hammerhead stuff at a later date.

It will be 15 dollars and contain five new multi-player maps. The catch is, TWO of them are remakes. Additionally, <insert person here> and <insert person here> will be fired by EA. A law suit will insue, however the good news is that the final Mass Effect game will be made by Obsidian.

I know it's free, but... seriously? That's it? Unless missions 3 & 4 are about 30 minutes apiece, that hardly seems worth the download time.
I called this the minute they announced it. I can't believe anyone would be surprised by this. You think they'd give away anything more than 5 minute missions away for free? At least they're giving us 3 terrible looking outfits for free too.....oh wait....nevermind you have to pay two bucks for them to fix Garrus' suit and give terrible looking sunglasses to Thane and Jack. Jack as a tatoo'd/biker version of Geordi LaForge does not appeal to me.

Ah, good, so I'm not the only one who isn't going to pay for missions that should have been in-game in the first place.
If that's a Kasumi dig, excellent. Bravo!
