I know it's free, but... seriously? That's it? Unless missions 3 & 4 are about 30 minutes apiece, that hardly seems worth the download time.
I think bethesda handles DLC far better than bioware....
Average Hammerhead mission completion time: Approx. 3 mins. WTF?

This "it's free!" argument needs to stop, because you know what else is free? Doo-doo!!
And I hate the Pitt, because it ruined Fallout 3 for me. The entire feel and atmosphere of that DLC completely trumped the Capital Wasteland and made me wish that Fallout 3 was all Pittsburgh.Collider wrote...

I thought they already did that with, ya know, FO3
Wait did you just say you hate The Pitt because it was good....

You're getting it for free...and there's also the possibility of more free mission packs utilizing the hammerhead.
Please... don't act like you're not disappointed.
Also, just because something is free doesn't mean it's above criticism. If someone were to promise you an awesome new car at no cost and then when they delivered it was a rusted old clunker with 4 flat tires and a smashed out windshield, you probably wouldn't be too happy about it. BioWare got our hopes up with promises of an incredible vehicle pack and apparently all we get is 3 minutes of node harvesting. Free or not, that's pretty lame.
I don't remember them calling it "incredible".

Lets just pray that what we just saw in those links are part of one actual mission.
Someone asked about mission length on his youtube post. daMole said ''I did the entire mission in each one''. Since he was legit about the alt apperance pack prior to it being announced offically I'd say that it's a fairly good likelyhood that 3-5 minutes for each mission.

Free isn't justification.
Beggers can't be choosers.
Don't know about you, but if someone paid for the Cerberus card after buying the game used... they would rightfully be pissed by the worthless crap they got with it. I mean... if Kasumi is ~$7... that would put Zaeed roughly the same... that means we paid what... $8 for a handful of heavy weapons and armor with maybe 25minutes of content? I don't even use any of those weapons or armor. If I would have paid for that Cerberus card, I would be pretty pissed at this point.

That’s not good, not good at all. Is this really the best BioWare could have come up with? If so, I stand by my original post on the last page on this.

Basically N7 missions in a vehicle.
I'd personally like to smack every single person who complained about the Mako missions in ME1, because now instead of getting more great sidemissions like Kohoku and Cerberus (which BioWare seem to want to forget completely about...), the Rogue VI on Luna, Corporal Toombs and Major Kyle which had story, characters and more than just a "shoot everyone" option to complete the side missions in ME2 are all just run down a corridor, shoot enemies, press a button THE END.
To be honest... I'd rather there were zero side-missions. Make all of the content relative to the main story, or branch off from the main areas. Sidequests on mission planets is fine, but stuff that you have to search for is dumb. You have a mission to do, you do not have time to go running around the galaxy acting like batman.

This. Easily some of the (if not best) DLC's I've purchased. Fallout 3, although to a lesser extent, had several decent DLC's; especially Point Lookout.
Bioware, take notes and emulate Bethseda for future DLC's please.

Probably because there was a mod for PC that existed that gave you horse armor. No wait not just Steel and Elven but every other kind as well. Daedric Horse armor is pimpin.
As for the DLC it's free. Who cares. If I give you a free sandwich are you going to complain because it doesn't have lettuce or its not your favorite type of bread?
No, but I'll give it back to ya if it is literally just two slices of bread.

I'm thankful it's free and actually something to do until Kasumi DLC comes out--unlike the Alternate Costume Pack w/only THREE costumes.
IT'S FREE!!! Just b/c it looks bad, yes I do think it certainly could have been done better, doesn't mean it should be totally written off.
From what this thread has been sounding like, seems like a many people won't even bother, am I right?
I know I won't.

I had that DLC and I am pretty sure you had to have the Horse armor DLC installed to use the community mod... not sure though both where free so it doesn't really matter

Some didn't even get that far. Remember the "run around and find fuel canisters for a mech that shot one missle at a piece of rock revealing some 2000 palladium or some other mineral. I was seriously insulted by that mission. To think that it wasn't enough to make the mineral scanner for the 360 slow, they made me literally walk around and do nothing for 15 minuets for only 2000 of a mineral. Jesus Christ it pisses me off just remembering it.

Please, dude. They were all subpar shooter experiences.
They weren't even as diverse as KoTOR.

^This time 9000,bioware doesn't even need to put out all this short terribad dlc. They could put out lengthy dlc on a less frequent schedule and I'd be happy.Even 'Borderlands'(a rpg lite-shooter)still had 3 lengthy dlcs within a few months of each other giving some people reasons to stick with it for longer. It's also my understanding that the last one for it added tons of content including a raise in the lvl cap and hours of gameplay.
I'd love to see a lengthy dlc priced around Bordeland's $10 range that added meaniful sidequest and hours of gameplay <_<.

Yes because you know how to handle money:innocent:
has nothing to do with being born with an economic advantage, you could have easily been born a starving native of a 3rd world country or in to a dirt poor family.
and if you would throw away perfectly good bread you don't know how to manage money as well as you would like us to believe you do with that pompous attitude.

...Did anyone take into account the possibility that these missions are a test run, perhaps? They can pour over these missions time and time again, but the BEST way to get feedback is from their consumers. These missions, however short, give us a chance to test the controls, the feel, the handling. Which then gives Bioware feedback which they can use to make better missions, or to even make the Hammerhead a permanent feature in ME3.
Have a bit more faith guys.
Isn't that why they have game testers?
